The Dauntless stare at me as we walk out of Candor headquarters. I can hear their thoughts but I don't register it through my head. This isn't what I need at the moment.

As we jump on the train heading towards Dauntless, I wonder if I did the right thing by not killing him. I shake my head getting those thoughts out of my head.

"Hey I heard that Eric is banished from Dauntless," Lynn says. I'm surprised that she wants to talk to me. "Whose great idea was that?"

"Mine. As an older leader than him I called the shots."

She snorts. "I thought Four called the shots on killing the both of you?"

"I thought he did as well. But then he heard my confession and decided against it." I shrug, leaning against the wall.

"So you're both alive. What a time that we are living in huh?"

"Yeah I guess so." I say softly.

"You should've stopped Jeanine you know," She starts. "And not let her brain control us. It's so stupid." She shakes her head. "I can't belive it. Look at them."

Nodding her head I find where her focus is. Uriah and Marlene stand side by side, their hands intertwined. "What's the problem?"

"They're so lovesick it's ridiculous."

"Are you jealous of them?" I ask. She twists her face like she ate something sour.

"I am. How can they be in love at a time like this?" She walks away and I try to figure out the pieces. They are just in love. Unless she wants Uriah. But it doesn't seem likely.

"They're jumping off!"Someone yells. We are arriving at the member's entrance to the compound. The people in the car jump off and I am near the last to jump off. Griting my teeth I run and land on the gravel, ripping my jeans.

I make it to where the others are, who are all gathered around the hole.

"Who wants to go first?" Someone asks. They all look around but nobody volunteers.

"I'll go first," I say. "That way I can help the rest down."

"Alright then." Shouts and cheers go through as they make a path for me to go through.

I get on the ledge and take a deep breathe before jumping. I hit the net and groan. "That never gets easier."

"Alright go ahead!" I shout. The next person goes ahead and the rest follow, timing it to be every 30 seconds.

Once everyone is down I lead them to the pit, where Bud is passing out paintball guns and another person is passing out the paintballs.

"What are we doing now?" I ask.

"We are going to be playing paintball with the camera lens." He says, pressing a gun into my hands. I go over to the next guy and fill my gun up with the paintballs. I don't reconize the gun.

"They had those before we had the nuero stim guns that are used for capture the flag," Someone says. People are gathering around in groups telling each other which parts of the compound to take.

"Hey Delilah! Come be on our team," Someone shouts. It's Marlene, who also holds a paintball gun. She aims it at my chest and fires, leaving green ink on my jacket.

"Hey that wasn't fair," I whine. Aiming mine back at her a blue paintball flies out and hits her in the shoulder. Uriah is also with her and fires at me, spraying me with blue ink.

I take this turn to shoot another one at Marlene, giving her a purple eyebrow. She tilts her head and tries shooting me again but this time it hits the wall.
