What. The. Fuck.

I look between Tris and the blue projector on the wall from where the woman came from.

"What the fuck just happened?" I demand.

"I don't know you tell me." Eric said.

"That," Four starts. "Is what is going to change everything."

"I don't want anything to change," I say. "I just, I don't know." I look around the room where I can see loads of people flooding the streets going towards the wall.

"Is the wall even open?" I ask.

"No it isn't. The people probably think it is but it's not."

"Damn."

"Now that Jeanine is not in power anymore I will go make an announcement." Evelyn says starting to walk out of the room.

"What kind of announcement?" Four asks.

Evelyn stops. "One where all factions are required to go back to their homes and wait for further instructions."

"Okay then." Four looks warily at his mother as she resumes walking out of the room.

"Who know's what Evelyn will do now that Jeanine isn't the leader," I say.

Four scoffs. "I know what she'll do. And it isn't going to be pretty."

"Like what?"

"She'll probably take over all of the factions and--" A shot runs through the building and stops Four from saying the rest of his sentence.

"What was that for?" Eric asks.

Mutters go through the room and I noticed when Evelyn left she had a gun.

"Omg Evelyn probably killed Jeanine!" I shout, bolting out of the room and running to the room where Eric and I put Jeanine.

Opening the door, I find Jeanine on the floor with blood pouring out of the back of her head and Evelyn standing on top of her.

"She deserved to be killed," Evelyn says. She holsters the gun and walks out pushing past the people who want to see Jeanine's dead body.

"Oh dear lord," I mutter. Taking a deep breath I announce to the group behind me. "Would someone get Jeanine out of the room and clean up this mess?"

A few of the men pick up Jeanine's limp body and face towards me. "Where would you like her?"

"Take her to the morgue." I say. Other people come through with towels and bleach. The smell of those together make me want to throw up so I turn and walk away to where there is at least clean air.

"Good catch Delilah," Four says behind me. "I never noticed that she had a gun with her. Mustve got it from another person."

"Yeah she probably did." I check my pocket and find that my gun is still there.

"She didn't take mine," I say.

"I gave her mine," Eric says, coming up behind Four. I give him a look.

"What?" He shrugs. "I wanted her dead just as much as you wanted. Right?"

"Yeah I guess that's right," I say.

"So then we are even."

"Four scoffs. "Since when are we even?"

"I hated Jeanine just as much as you did. Don't even try to lie. I know you did."

"Fine. I guess we are." Four walks away leaving Eric and I in the empty hallway.

"Well then." Eric says as he watches Four. "That was fun."
