"He's dead? Four is dead?"

"I'm pretty sure that he isn't dead, but he is missing, so there is a possibility that he is dead." Amar says.

"This can't be happening. There is no way that Four is dead." I wrap my hands around the back of my head and try to breathe. "Well where is Eric?"

"We don't know, he might've gone with four as well." His eyes focus on my pacing and heavy breathing as I try not to cry. "Delilah calm down, they will take care of themselves."

"I can't calm down until I know they are alive, don't you understand what the situation is at hand?"

"I do understand, but Delilah—" He doesn't get to finish his sentence as I go running out of the training room.

"Delilah wait where are you going?" He calls.

"Going to find David, he has to do something about this," I yell back as people move out of my way.

I burst through David's office and found him on some call with someone. Turning around, he has a small smile on his face. "Hello Delilah, I'm glad you are here, take a seat."

"I am not sitting until you tell me what is going on with everyone."

"Delilah I said sit." He turns back to the screen and says something. It's like he is saying commands to shut something down but I can't figure it out. The door behind me opens, and Amar comes in with a needle in his hand when David isn't looking.

"Hey I don't know if it will get this far but I want you to have this," He whispers as he inserts the needle into my neck and pushes the plunger down. My vision blurs in front of me, and it takes a few minutes for it to clear up.

"What is it?" I ask, but amar doesn't answer it.

"If this goes the way that I think it will go, I want you to pretend like you lost your memory, can you do that?" He asks.

I nod, still unsure what he is talking about as he slips out of the room. David turns to me, and smiles, but it isn't a smile that I would trust. He punches commands into the screen and it's a while before he says something to me again.

"Have you heard the news Delilah?"

"What news?"

"Eric was killed today. So was Four."

"Eric isn't dead. What kind of crap are you talking about?"

"They thought that they would escape this city and go back to chicago. And then their plane crashed, leaving them both dead."

"That's a load of bullshit. You don't know what you are talking about."

"Of course I know what I'm talking about. And you know it too."

"No you don't." I rise up to leave but a guard pushes me back down into the seat.

"Four and Eric went back to save chicago, didn't they? You're gonna do something and they don't want it to happen, right?"

"I only want what is best for Chicago. And they are trying to stop me."

"Where is everyone else?"

"They unfortunately left and went with Four and Eric. I am so glad that you stayed here with me. Now you can be my little helper. Come stand by me." He points to where he wants me, and I stand by him, feeling like im in a trap.

"This is the communication cord to them, I can interact with them and control things over in chicago." He presses a button and his face shows up in front of him.

There is also another screen showing the other person, and it's Tris.

"Close the door."

"Tris, I control everything. I can even seal the room you're in right now. Just stop fighting."

I can barely hear Caleb as he tells Tris something about another way done the stairs. We watch her every move as she descends down the stairs, searching for another way.

"This is foolish. Just stop. I made you. You might as well be my child, which is what you are acting like. A spoiled child."

"What is going on?" I ask. "What is she doing?"

"It's over Tris." David says. Even though there is barely any light, I can see that she has an outfit on with the headgear. One of the discs point to something and she shoots into the wall.

"You're right David, it is over," Tris says as she shoots one more time into some sort of gas chamber.

"No!" David yells. The screen shuts off and he stands there in defeat.

"Apparently they won," I say. David doesn't answer as he turns it back on the and Four, Tris, Eric, Christina and Caleb all stand there. Past them, I can see that there is orange smoke retreating back into where the walls meet the floor and I understand what it is now.

It's the same smoke that they used to erase all of the kid's memories as we brought them into the building.

David tried to erase Chicago.

"You tried to erase Chicago, didn't you?" I say. "You were willing to erase all of their memories just so you can keep the factions."

"Yes I was," He sighs. "The experiments don't work if their isn't factions to keep the peace. It would've been better if it was restarted. They just got into my way."

"Delilah? Delilah? Are you there?" Eric asks.

"Yes I'm here, don't worry about me, I'm fine."

"She should've came with us," Four mutters, while holding a woman up.

"David told me that you and Four were dead." I say. "I'm really glad you aren't."

"I know, Four and I are fine, just a little bruised up."

"That's good. Im so glad to hear that."

"Um excuse me, I don't want to ruin your conversation, but we need to have a talk," David says, butting in.

"What about David, we shut your experiment down, there is no talk." Tris says firmly.

"I know, what you did was supposedly right and all, but it does have consequences."

"What consequenses? Are you going to blow us all up now or something?" Four says.

"No, no. It's a really good thing you left one of your people behind, it's such a shame to have to see this." He steps back from the screen as the others come closer with confusion on their faces.

"David what's going on?" Tris asks, but in a split second their confusion goes to horror as they start to yell at me to leave.

"Delilah!" Eric yells as someone grabs me from behind and puts a mask over my face. Orange gas spews out and their words fade to nothing as the gas finishes. The person behind me leaves, and there is only one question.

Who is Delilah?
