We are biologists!
Who are primarily concerned with the study of living organisms.
Living or Dead,
from the depths of the oceans to the deserts, swamp and wetlands,
tundra and ice sheets.
Life is Everywhere!
We are Biologists!
Bio means Life.
We study the structures, functions, growth, origin, evolution and distribution of living organisms.
A key to better understand,
all the life forms on Earth.
We are Biologists!
We classify living things,
from the smallest to big living organisms.
At eight different levels;
domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species.
We are Biologists!
We are taught in Microbiology that Microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites are all pathogenic that can lead to humans' various diseases.
It will enter your body through the mouth, eyes, nose, urogenital openings, or through wounds or bites.
Organisms can spread or be transmitted—by several routes.
We are Biologists!
We learn to formally name
the plants and animals,
through binomial nomenclature,
Proposed by Carl Linnaeus.
We are Biologists!
Thus, we're expected to become
Future Scientists.
But little did they know, most of us were left uncertain.
We are Biologists!
Who are unrecognizable,
pointless, underestimated and discouraged.
We are just Biologists!
But whether you liked it or not,
we're holding back scientific information that can reduce the risk.
Regardless of how lethal
things might be,
We know our capacity,
We can make changes and
aid the world,
share our knowledge.
So that we can avoid a global catastrophe.
We are Biologists!
Who feared not only those wildly exaggerated,
but also those who could interfere with our efforts to educate the public.
We are Human Ingenuity,
We deserve your respect.
