Scarlette's POV

A horn honked outside. The villains rushed around, collecting all they would need for the new school. Maleficent and Mal walked out onto the balcony. I went to leave, but my father stopped me.

"Now Scarlette." He said in a low voice. "All I want you to do is find Kovu and bring him home. Now get out there before you disappoint me already!" I sighed. That was all Father ever talked about. Kovu, Kovu, Kovu. I assured him she would, (even though I wouldn't, I would rather die than have Kovu home to have all of Father's attention again) then I ran outside and dropped her bag in the boot of the car after Mal. I absent-mindedly compared their choice of bags. I had a practical yet stylish bag, Evie had a very chic but not at all useful bag, Mal had a huge sack, Jay had no bag at all, Hamish had a net (I laughed at that, don't really know why) and Fredrick had used his magic hat. I frowned. Where was Carlos's bag?

As I thought this, Carlos came running out of the hideout with his mother in tow. Cruella seemed to be furious.

"Carlos!" She yelled, "Get back here!" But Carlos took no notice dumping his bin bag (Why a bin bag? I wondered) into the boot and diving into the car. I followed.

They looked around the limo. Carlos and Jay gasped when they saw the shelf of lollies on the side of the car. They looked at each other, then promptly began fighting over who would reach them first. Hamish sighed, then covered his face with his ridiculously huge hat. I often teased him about his hat. I don't know why. He makes me weirdly awkward and nervous.

Fredrick looked up from his cards to see what the ruckus was about, then pushed the cards into one sleeve and pulled some sort of marble out of the other. He gazed intently at it. Mal snorted incredulously. She snorts like that a lot.

Soon, they reached the broken bridge that led off the island. I expected the car to stop, but it didn't. We all screamed,

"It's a trap!!" But before we crashed to our deaths, a magical golden bridge appeared. I stared in awe. The limo safely glided over the bridge and into Auradon.

Before long, the car arrived at Auradon Prep. I had been told that the school was beautiful, but I didn't really think so. I honestly thought they were trying way too hard to emphasize that most people there were royals. As the limo drove up the driveway, students raced after it, waving flags of blue and yellow. The school band played, to welcome the new students to the school.

The door opened and I neatly stepped out, avoiding Carlos and Jay who fell out onto the ground. I playfully kicked Carlos in the leg. He wouldn't have minded. He's my bestie. Or, well, more like the person you practice your fighting skills with the most. Mal and Hamish stepped out next, then Evie. Mal frowned, then reached back into the car to drag Fredrick out by the collar. Carlos and Jay were still fighting on the ground. They seemed to be holding a scarf.

"You have everything else, why do you want this?" Cried Carlos,

"Because you want it!" Yelled Jay. They continued until Mal smiled toleratingly and said,

"Guys, we have an audience." Jay looked and pulled Carlos to his feet, embarrassed.

A beautiful woman made her way through the crowds of students.

"Leave it, boys!" She said. Jay shoved his armful of stuff back in the limo. It drove off. Jay looked behind the woman to where three students, a boy and two girls, were standing. He walked up to one of the girls.

"Hello, foxy." He said. The girl laughed uncomfortably.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep!" Said the lady, "I'm Fairy Godmother, Headmistress."
