"I am going to punch the living out of you. My fist is going to go through your skull if you don't shut it right now. This is not health class." I regretted punching the desk my wrists felt like they had thorns tied to them. Every move I made cut through my flesh deeper and deeper, no matter what I tried to not let it show.
"Seriously Alice this is hard to watch." Mr. M took a step closer to me. "This needs to heal before your welcome party or people will ask what happened."
"I can handle it so back off." I took a step back from Mr. M not realizing Ray was right behind me.
"Alice let someone help you please." I couldn't fight with Ray after how mean I was to him earlier.
"Since you won't have blood because it will not help you right now. It would be like drinking water so it would be useless to you right now. Even though the blood will taste good like always it is not useful for you healing."
"Get on with your point!"
"Maybe you should just use some special cream I have." Mr. M grabbed a yogurt looking cream. "This heals vampires really well when they are too injured to heal themselves. It might sting a little though." I swallowed really hard as he applied the cream I felt a cooling relief but then it felt like he took the thorns and pull it as hard as he could and then it stopped hurting. The yogurt disappeared and it was like the cut was never there. "All better now."
"Yogurt heals people, weird." All three of us laughed non-stop. Ray reached over and hugged me.
"Glad to see your better." Mr. M ruined the moment.
"I said keep that behavior outside of my office!" Ray looked at Mr. M. "I get it, still try not to be so close to each other in here."
"It is not like that. Ray and I are not dating." I let out a long sigh.
"Doesn't seem like a friendship from over here. What does Ray think about this friendship relationship?" The room grew a bit tense, I stepped away from Ray giving myself some space.
"Is that any of your business Mr. M?" Ray tried to be somewhat respectful but it was obvious that he hit a nerve.
"So you don't have an answer. That is an answer in my book." Mr. M looked at the two of us with light eyes.
"I am starting to get why Alice tells you to shut up all the time." I started laughing and gave him a high-five.
"Can you two help me with something?" Mr. M spoke back in his principal tone.
"Sure." Ray spoke after a few long seconds.
"Depends on what it is." I said after Ray.
"Alice you don't need to be so skeptical but okay. I have a bad feeling about this welcome party look out for each other. Ray look after Alice she will be a target for all the guys since she is a girl also because of her looks. The only thing I am asking of you Alice is to try not to die tonight."
"I'll try not to." I said hesitatively.
"Will do." Ray answered a few seconds after me, while looking at me instead of Mr. M. The bell rung it was lunch time.
"Since you have been well behaved Alice I'll take your bag to your dorm for you. I will also let you two have the day off of school today, so go relax or whatever high school students do nowadays." I broke eye contact with Ray for a little bit to look at Mr. M.
"Bye Mr. M." We both left his office, that room's atmosphere was so stuffy and complicated. Glad I was out of there finally.
