My mind wandered off, I just can't believe this. When is this dream going to end? Am I actually dreaming or is this reality? How can that man be a vampire I mean he is so kind and treats me with so much respect? Admiring someone who may not even be human, I am insane. Taking my uniform off me, threw on some skinny blue jeans with a black sweatshirt. The sweatshirt had a hood darker than midnight itself, my undershirt was just a black tee-shirt. I need to get some fresh air, maybe I'll go on to the roof of the school again. Grabbing the keys I locked the door, then I put them in my pocket.
Walking towards the school once again everything was the same, except I didn't feel quiet as dizzy. I wouldn't say I feel great or fantastic, more like I felt not bad. After drinking blood there is no way I could say I feel good or even okay. I mumbled under my breath to myself, "The past is the past but it still, ugh!!! I need to move on jeez." I looked at the moon, that moon is always watching me it never changes all of this is in my head. None of this is even possible, I am probably in my dorm asleep and this is just me having a vile dream or something... I hope. Please just be a dream, I mean come on none of this makes any sense, everything I know can't be wrong. This is just a horrid nightmare, but it seems so real. When I wake up will I remember Ray, Mr. M's school of beasts, and all of these feelings I have? The wind blew my hair concealing my face from anyone, my thick dark hair I pulled forward, and put up my hood. Leaning on the fence I stood there staring at the moon in my refuge. I felt someone's eyes on me, "What do you want?" I asked pretending to know who I was talking to.
Ray appeared from the shadows, I held in all my feelings making them obscurity. "You have your guard up tonight it seems." He let out a light chuckle. The moonlight shined on his skin making him look like he was shining almost like he was a gem, like untouched snow before people step on it when the sun rises. Was he sparkling? I stared into his eyes they looked so perfect making me get a shiver his eyes were so handsome I couldn't help but stare into them every chance I got, then getting lost in them just sent bone-chilling shivers down my spine. This sensation was unlike anything I have ever felt before.
"Sorry but I don't really like it when people stare at me. Getting used to it, kind of." I began to chuckle a little too, his laugh was contagious.
"Well it is hard to ignore you because you're the most beautiful person I have ever seen, you're special too in so many ways." He looked right into my eyes, I was the only thing he was thinking about, we both forgot about the world I let go of all my fears for a second.
"You're special too." I smiled a little he looked surprised. "Something wrong? You look so shocked."
"I just usually don't talk this much to people, you just aren't like the others. Something about you fascinates me I wonder what it is. Talk about the unfathomable mystery. When I think I understand you everything changes. Let's be friends, I'll give you a tour after classes or something like that. For now you need to go to bed, it is past your bed time." He reached his hand out to me, so swiftly. I hesitated to even pick up my hand, he just got impatient, he grabbed my hand, and sprinted with me and we descended down the staircase. We reached the dorm and he slowly came to a normal walking speed.
"Why did we have to run?" I spoke while out of breath.
"If I didn't then you probably would have let go of my hand. I didn't want that." He looked at me with gentle eyes, "Goodnight Alice." After he spoke he disappeared into thin air, he might have went to his dorm.
"Goodnight to you too Ray." I said quietly and walked to my dorm, unlocked the door, then locked it putting the key on my dresser, after that I laid in bed. Laying there I looked around the room, it was an exact replica of my old dorm room. All the details were there from the indents on the walls to the coziness of the room, just too good sometimes. I might want to go to sleep before the sun comes up. I shut my blinds hiding my room from the outside world. Before I went to bed set my alarm for 6:30 pm. I tucked myself in my blanket it made me feel protected almost safe, closing my eyes without any fears.
*Ring*
Morning already? That went by so fast I feel fantastic, strangely enough. Reaching over to shut off my alarm clock, guess it is time to get ready, only an hour until school starts. I stumbled over towards my closet grabbing my uniform seeing both of them. My timeworn uniform and my fresh one, taking a deep breath I grasped my new uniform releasing a sigh of relief. I put on my uniform brushed my hair, this uniform is comfortable also very fitted. My necklace moved and was settled on my dresser, I grabbed my necklace putting it on. I put the necklace in my hand holding it up to examine the gem, this was so amazing, the scarlet gem. Almost like a red diamond.
Releasing the necklace letting it hang down, turning towards my room key I picked it up and unlocked my door. I felt the door move when the key turned. Was it just me imagining things? Pulling the door open there was Ray, he looked startled. "Good morning Ray."
He looked at me so confused, "Good morning?"
"Sorry, just woke up my mind is off." I thought to myself, nice save.
"Let's go eat breakfast, we have thirty minutes until class starts." He spoke reaching out his hand to me. I still hesitate grabbing his hand, but I grabbed it this time. When I did he smiled, unable to hold back I felt a smile appear on my face too. "Want to run today or shall we walk?"
Just looking at his expression I could tell either way we were going to run. "Since whatever I was going to say wasn't effecting the result I said, "Let me locked my door, than lets run." He let out a slight chuckled and so did I while I locked my door putting the key in my skirt pocket. This uniform had socks that went just below the knee so a somewhat short skirt didn't bug me too much.
