I finally came to a halt and saw the light of a torch. Getting on my feet was difficult because I was slightly dizzy. My cut was about to drip so I crossed my right hand over my left to block it. Walking towards the torch light I saw a high school boy before me. His eyes widened, turning away from me, I saw him bite his lip and cover his mouth with his hand. His suit making him look like an adult. Almost like he was going to some kind of fancy formal dance.
I looked directly at him staring into the side of his shining bright eyes. They were so splendid I can't even describe them or form words to think about them. Even though his eyes were pretty they had this feel to them that made me scared, they returned back to brown. He moved his hand and said in a deep voice, "Are you lost?"
"I am one of you." I said puzzled about what that even meant.
He took a step back. "You must be Mr. M's school students. Don't come down here it is not safe. Silly girl you could have gotten hurt."
Taking a step forward, "I am one of you. Just like you why don't you believe me?" I don't know why but I felt like I couldn't go back now, I made it this far so no point in giving in now. I need to figure out what is going on too.
"Miss go up now, I will go up there with you." He was about to grab my hand and drag me up those stairs by force.
I slapped his hand away with my blood covered right hand and ran past him. I hope his suit didn't get blood on it. Turning around he was on the ground holding his head like he was about to get something thrown at him. I felt guilty, so I walked back, "Umm, mister are you okay..."
He got closer to the ground and spoke almost so quiet I couldn't hear him. Not like he was scared of something, more like he was screaming out to someone who was about to get hit by a car but he was screaming for a different reason. Only he was whispering it with every emotion in every single word. "Run away. While you still can."
I looked at him, he looked like he was using every ounce of his strength to hold something back. He seemed to be in so much pain a strain, "I said run." he chocked.
"I can't just leave you here! Don't be so dumb you need to take care of yourself. I don't care if I am a stranger, I am going to help you." I grabbed his hand once again with my pale hand painted with my own blood. This time he was not as stressed out and relaxed a little. I ran hand in hand with him through the never ending hallway that looked like a dungeon. The bone chilling draft coming off the floor, surrounded by stone brick walls that make me feel trapped. But I must keep running with this person to the end of this hallway.
"Miss..."
I stopped for a second to catch my breath, "I am fine. We need to get you to help."
"I am not sick or injured at all."
"Stop lying! I saw you on the ground." I continued running with him until I stumbled into this huge iron door.
"This is the end of the hallway, happy now."
"I need to enter." I stepped closer to the door, passing an unlit torch.
"You can't enter." He smiled and began to chuckle.
"Watch me." I pushed open the door walking in revealing what was on the other side. My necklace got a little colder as I walked through the door way but it disappeared almost instantly. On the other side of the door looked like a subway station with no one in it; except for maybe the driver in the subway. The driver was difficult to see due to the tinted glass.
I forgot all about the person I brought with me, I turned around to talk to him but he interrupted me, "What are you?" He stared at me with a serious look on his face.
