33- Chaotic talk

All of them sat in the living room determined to party hard. Soon, Neo found out that there were no snacks to eat with the drinks.

Neo: Guys we Don't have any snacks at home. Should we order some?

Adrien: They will charge delivery charges I'll go and bring some.

Rome: And I'll help Neo with the arrangements.

Charles: Why would you? You can go out with Adrien.

Rome: I don't wanna. It's chilly outside. Brrrrrr I'm staying inside.

Adrien looked at Neo as he wasn't in the mood to go outside in this cold weather alone. He did volunteer this himself but needed a company.

Rome: Just send Charles with him.

Charles: Why me???

Neo: Just go with Adrien. You have big hands too. You can carry more things than him.

Adrien (annoyed) : Fuck you.

Neo: Go both of you and hurry back home.

Adrien and Charles picked up their coats and got ready to take a leave. Gladly, Adrien had a motorbike with him so they'll not have to walk down to the store.

Inside the home

Rome: You know why I asked you to send Charles out? It's because I wanted to talk with you in private.

Neo: Why?

Rome (chuckles): You'll not believe me but when Charles is with you he seems like a different person. Totally different.

Neo: How?

Rome: You know he was one annoyed asshole in the school and outside. He used to glare at everyone. Even me, lol. But when he looks at you. It's like his blank dead eyes get some spark of life in it. I wanted to ask you.. are you guys dating?

Neo (panics): No-No!

Rome: Do you want to date him?

Neo didn't reply, he could feel his heart racing with the thought of it,

Neo: Actually... Yes I want to but because of my past dating experience I was scared about it.

Rome: I can assure you he isn't a person who breaks other's hearts. Even if he is going through pain he will make sure to give others comfort.

Neo was quiet as he heard Rome telling him more profoundly about Charles. With each word of Rome he was getting motivated to try to fall in love again.

Rome: Let me tell you one thing if you are afraid of falling you'll never walk again. Same with love. If you are afraid of heartbreak you'll not be brave enough to give your heart to someone.

Neo: I do like him so much. I want him to be with me forever. I don't know how this happened but he has changed my perspective of love with his presence. We used to be rivals, enemies now, I don't know how all the bitterness of our relationship got dissolved by the sweetness of his gestures, words.

While talking about Charles, Neo got a warm smile on his face, His eyes were filled with joy, His heart was pounding in his chest fast.

Neo: He has painted the blank canvas of my life with the color of warmth, comfort, care and love. I couldn't ask him for more. I do want to confess.. but every time I see him I get choked on my own words. I can't seem to express myself.

Rome: Then what are you waiting for? Just get wasted today. One person is drunk, his honest thoughts comes out.

Neo was impressed by this idea. He agreed with Rome and thought he would be brave if he was drunk enough.
