Neo's voice wavered with disbelief,
Neo: You can't be serious about this... are you?"
The uncertainty in his tone piqued Charles's interest, prompting him to approach and rest his chin on Neo's shoulder from behind.
On a phone call, Neo pressed the speaker button, allowing the voice on the other end to fill the room.
Voice: Come this afternoon to pick your suit. It's also your brother's wish, and bring Charles with you.
Charles, overhearing the conversation, pointed to himself in surprise and whispered,
Charles: Me?
Neo responded with assurance,
Neo: Okay, Mom, I'll be there on time.
Neo's Mother: Just congratulate him. It's a significant step for his future.
Neo: I support my brother... as long as he's happy.
Neo replied, his voice a mix of support and concern.
The call ended with a click, and Charles, puzzled, inquired,
Charles: What's going on? Did your brother land another deal?
Neo: It's bigger than that,
Neo said, his voice trailing off as he walked to the sofa and sat down, his face clouded with worry.
Neo: Sometimes.. I can't understand my brother at all.
Charles, sensing his distress, sat beside him and held his hand within his offered a comforting hand.
Charles: Sometimes, not understanding others is part of the journey.
Neo took a deep breath before dropping the news,
Neo: My brother's getting married.
Charles's eyes widened in shock,
Charles: With Who??
Neo: The daughter of Mr. Green, one of his business partners.
Neo revealed, his tone reflecting a mix of surprise and resignation.
Charles: So are we going?
Neo.: I have to.. I have to talk things out with brother. I want to know whether he is happy or not.
In the soft glow of the afternoon, Neo and Charles made their way to the tailor's. As they stepped inside, they were greeted by the sight of Noah, trying on various tuxedos for his upcoming wedding.
Noah greeted them warmly,
Noah: Hello, how are you both?"
Neo approached Noah with a furrowed brow, while Charles hung back, observing the brothers' exchange.
Neo: Why are you doing this?
Noah, adjusting his tie in the mirror, responded calmly,
Noah: Do you mean the wedding? I'm at the age to marry. Aren't you happy for me?
Neo: I just want to see my brother happy, only then I can be happy.
Neo replied, his voice tinged with concern. Noah turned to him with a reassuring smile.
Noah: I am happy.
he said, before moving to select another tuxedo. Neo followed him as his concern grew.
