Chapter 8

Matteos pov

Walking down the stairs away from Arlo and Finn, I find the rest of the boys in the front room.

Aiden looks at me with a slight frown. "Is everything okay? You were up there for ages. "

I let out a sigh trying to relax my muscles. "Arlos feeling homesick and just wants to stay in bed for the day."

They all nod in understanding. Each of them was homesick at one point even Aiden and he was eager to leave his home.

Sensing I was stressed; Xavier gets up from the sofa and makes his way towards me, "You look tense."

Then all of a sudden, he's behind me, massaging my shoulders.

One thing you will learn very quickly about Xavier is that his love language is physical touch.

Which is kinda weird considering he doesn't like people to touch him. Well, people who aren't us.

"Sooo when can we tell him?"

Looking over to Kayden, I see Aiden trying to hold his laughter in.

"Baby you know we can't yet, especially when his emotions are heightened like they are now."

He throws his head back and lets out a groan. "I just want to cuddle with him."

"I have." I look over to Jace and notice the smirk that's on his face.

Xavier, lets out a laugh behind me. "So have I."

I let out a small cough. "I also have"

Jace looks at Xavier with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Oh I can't wait to see where this goes.

"How much do you want to bet that Finn is cuddled up with Arlo right now"

"Oh he definitely is"

"Guysssss" We all burst into laughter, well all except Kayden.

"Stop pouting Kayden, you will get your time soon."

He lets out a huff "Fine but you guys are mean"

I apologise to him still smiling. Trying to make it up to him I say "when Finn comes down, because he will. You can go up there and make him feel better yeah?"

His face lights up "Thank you thank you thank you"

"Of course" I smile

"As much as I'm loving this massage my love I need to contact Arlo's parents and figure out what I'm doing for dinner."

Xavier leans down and presses a kiss to my cheek "Okay if you need me let me know"

"I will"

Arlos pov

I feel so comfortable right now it's actually unbelievable. I genuinely don't remember a time I was this comfortable. In the womb maybe?

I try sinking myself deeper into the comfort but a hand squeezes my waist.

"Stop moving"

I freeze. Not just because he told me to but because his voice is sexy as fuck.

Arlo you need to get a grip because apparently everyone in this house is sexy as fuck.

"Sorry" I whisper "Mhmm" he turns on his side moving me onto mine as well. Then he pulls me as close as he possibly can and nuzzles his face into my neck.

I swear every time his breath hits my neck my body tingles. Sighing I close my eyes trying to drift off again not caring about what time it is.

Just as I was about to doze off I hear footsteps in the room and then kaydens voice. "Hey guys you need to wake up"

I squint up at him and I take him in for a second and just appreciate how beautiful he really is. His eyelashes are so long it's unfair and his eyes are a dark shade of caramel. And his lips wow.

OMG..

He has a fucking boyfriend arlo and not just any boyfriend but it's aiden. I've gotten to really like aiden and now I just feel horrible.

"Mhmm what time is it?"

"It's around 7. We wanted to let you guys rest" I nod and then try and move out of Finns hold which isn't easy because his grip on me is tight.

"Finn" nothing. No answer, not even any movement. "Finn let go"

I heard him huff and then felt him let me go. Once I sat up I looked down at Finn who looks like wouldn't be getting up any time soon. Looking back up to kayden "I don't think he's getting up anytime soon".

Kayden shakes his head, walking over he sits beside Finn. After looking at him for a minute he threads his fingers through Finns hair and leans down towards the sleeping boys ear. "Finn you need to get up love."

Love? They seem...close. I mean I know they all are it's no secret, during my short time here I've become really close with them but this seems different.

Shaking my head I ignore these thoughts knowing I'm thinking too deep into things.

Finn finally gets up and basically drags himself to the door. Kayden and I walk behind him.

"Oh look its the sleeping beauty's, how was your naps" Xavier says teasingly.

Finn nods "mhmm" and carrys on walking until he's in Xaviers arms.
Xavier leans down his lips brushing slightly against Finns cheek and whispers something to him.

Hmm very close.

Making eye contact with jace he opens his arms wide and I smile. I will happily take a hug from jace.

Once his arms wrap around me and his face dips slightly into my neck I let out a sigh. All the tension from my body leaving. I don't know why but these boys make me feel so safe and content.

"Dinners getting cold boys. Come and dish up your dinner" I quickly separate from jace and basically run into the kitchen.

Matteo laughs someone's hungry.

I nod "very"

Looking down I see that matteo made chicken Alfredo and garlic bread.

Oh yeahh.

Fun fact pasta is one of my favourite meals.

Basic bitch I know

Once we all sit down at the table I look over to matteo and ask him about my parent.

"Did you contact my parents?" He nods but looks sad?

"I did but they said they're not ready to talk to you yet. They think it's best not to"

They aren't ready to talk to me?

What the actual fuck. If anyone shouldn't be ready to talk it should be me. They sent ME away not the other way round.

"That's bullshit" my head snaps left "aiden no swearing at the dinner table"
Aiden looks down at his food "Sorry but I'm not wrong"

Clearly trying to change the subject kaydens speaks up "Arlo would like to watch criminal minds with me tomorrow?"

"Sure, I've never watched it before" kayden dramatically gasps.

"Your life is about to change forever"

Everyone at the table starts to laugh.
