chapter 12

It's been about a week since Finn's birthday and everything has been going amazing.

I've gotten closer to the guys and I love seeing them together and express their love for each other. It's beautiful.

For example, right now we are all in the basement watching a new movie that Kayden and Finn have been wanting to watch for a while now. I'm laying on a bean bag with Matteo next to me, his arm is wrapped around my shoulder and his fingers are lightly stroking my arm. Next to us on the other bean bag is Kayden and Jace. Kayden is currently passed out on Jace's chest and Jace is resting his cheek on Kayden's head. Finn, Xavier, and Aiden are on the sofa behind us cuddled up. 

I feel so content right now, not only content but happy. So happy it's unbelievable. 

About an hour ago I made my choice. I'm going to tell the guys at dinner that I'm one hundred percent ready and okay with this relationship. I'm all in.

For some unknown reason, I am incredibly nervous. I know the guys are going to be happy and there's nothing to be nervous about but i can't help it. My nerves get the best of me.

"Guys I uh made my decision about you know the relationship." All the guys pause and turn their heads towards me.

Matteo leans forward slightly a hopeful expression on his face. "Yeah? And what that decision Arlo?"

clearing my throat I look down at my hands which I can't help fiddling with. "I want in. I know now that I'm ready for a relationship."

I see everyone relax and they all start smiling. Before anyone can say anything I carry on. "It was never about if I like you guys or if I trust you because I do like and trust you. I just didn't know if I was ready for a relationship that's all. But after some thinking, I am ready for one if it's with you guys."

"oh thank fuck pretty boy, I'll be honest I fucking like you" Jace wiggles his eyebrows.

"Same" A chorus of voices call out and I can feel my face turn pink.

"Good because I like you guys too"

"so it's your birthday soon Aiden. Do you have any ideas of what you want?"

Aiden looks up from his plate with a slight smirk. "A puppy." 

I hold in a laugh. Finn told me that Aiden's been asking for a puppy for a good while and Matteo always says no. Finn says he thinks Matteo's resolve is slipping though and honestly I hope it is because a puppy around the house would be amazing.

Matteo sighs. "How many times do I have to tell you no puppy Aiden?"

Aiden smiles sweetly "Until I get a puppy or until you give me a good reason why I can't have one."

I tilt my head to the side in question. "What breed do you want?"

As soon as I ask the question I can basically see the excitement run through Aiden's veins. "Well to be completely honest any breed will do as long as I get a puppy but my dream dog is a German shepherd or a Rottweiler I can't pick between the two so don't ask me Arlo because that would break my heart."

I couldn't help the laugh that came out of my lips. "Don't worry Aiden I would never make you pick between them."

Aiden pouts. "Are you making fun of me Arlo?"

"oh, he so is. Aren't you pretty boy?"  I shake my head still laughing. 

I swear Jace is always trying to underneath people's skin (not in the bad way. The funny way guys. Don't worry.). during the time I've been here, I've realised that Jace is the jokester of the group. He's always trying to fit a joke in and trying to make sure everyone is happy.

"no, I swear  I'm not. " I say in between my laughter "If anything I totally get where you're coming from baby"

His eyes widen "Baby? Oh I love that"

I look down at my hands feeling slightly embarrassed. "Good."

"Don't be embarrassed Pretty boy, he loves us having nicknames for him. To be honest we all like having nicknames so you better hurry up and give me one."

I shake my head smiling. "Crazy boy"

"I feel like I should be offended but I like it"

Kayden lets out a little laugh "Of course you would"

Jace holds a hand to his chest. "What's that supposed to mean?"

Kayden lets out the cutest fucking giggle. "Nothing my love"

Jace nods his head with a smirk. "That's what I thought."

"No but seriously, what do you want for your birthday Aiden because I am so stuck." Finn says with a groan. 

"As soon as you say you want something I get it for you, so when it comes to birthdays and Christmas I never know what to get you."

Aiden opens his mouth to talk but Finn interrupts. "And don't you dare say you nothing because I am getting you something." His voice tells us all that it's not up for discussion.

"What about one of those huge teddy bears?" Kayden suggests.

"When we went to the fun fair you wanted one."

Aiden nods his head with a big smile. "Now that would be perfect Finn."

Finn lets out a sigh and relaxes. It was clearly stressing him that he didn't know what to get Aiden for his birthday but I can tell that Aiden wouldn't care if Finn didn't get him anything. 

"Okay, I can do that."

Matteo gives Aiden a pointed look. "I, however, can't get you a puppy Aiden."

Aiden once again pouts and leans his head on kaydens shoulder.

Hey my beautiful people!

I'm not gonna lie this is definitely a filler chapter but that's only because I've decided to re-plan this story but I didn't want to miss my Wednesday upload lol.

And it's very short.

I hope you still liked this one.

I want to pre-apologise if I miss next week's upload because of planning.

Once again I want to thank you guys so much for the love it really does mean the world to me.

There have been times when I've questioned if I should stop writing but the comments on this made me rethink that. I love you guys. :)
