Chapter 6

It's been about an hour since we first came outside and I will say everyone was right. This garden is beautiful.

Right now I'm with kayden and finn. Kayden wanted to show me where he goes when he's overwhelmed or sad.

Turns out it's a pond that beside a magnolia tree. I can see why he comes here to cool down. I can imagine how calming it would be to read a book under the tree on a summers day.

Oh and they have a fricking swing.

A SWING PEOPLE

A touch on my shoulders takes me out of my thoughts.

I look up to see matteo standing over me with a smile.

"Come we're going to watch another movie now"

I basically jump up. Fun fact but I'm a lazy guy at heart.

Once we make it back into the basement everyone starts taking their seats again but this time xavier takes ahold of my arm.

"Sit with me?" Wow he has such a beautiful smile. Face even. Bod- no arlo no.

"Of course" i say. I guess it wouldn't matter what I said because he was already dragging me to the sofa

Everyone was in their original seats except matteo was next to jace Instead of me.

During the movie I felt xavier gradually get closer and closer. At first I thought I was imagining it but when our shoulders touch I knew I was right.

Looking over at him a see a slight smirk on his face. Shaking my head with amusement I turn my attention back to the movie.

However after a while my eyes start to sting. Shit! I forgot to take my contacts out.

Sadly I can only wear my contacts for a small amount of time before my eyes get irritated; which is annoying because I look better without glasses.

Sighing I push myself off of the sofa and start to walk towards the door.

"Hey" I hear matteo say with concern and a bit of confusion "is everything okay arlo?"

I smile "yeah everything is fine I just need to take my contacts out. My eyes are slightly irritated"

Aiden looks at me confused"Wait you wear glasses?" Jace sighs and answers for me "yeah he literally came here with them yesterday"

"Oh right right"

After putting my glasses on I head back into the room. And kayden basically sqeauls "omg you look so cute with glasses" and the next thing I know he's no long in Aidens and has his hands on my face squishing it.

For some reason hom saying that makes my stomach feel funny.

Laughter takes me out of my thoughts "kayden let him go. You can't just grab him like that" aiden says still laughing

Xavier holds his hand out and says "Hurry I'm cold and your warm" I chuckle and take a seat next to him agian.
