Chapter 13

"I just don't understand how someone can be so attractive," Kayden says while he lays his head on my chest.

I hum and play with his hair. It's so soft I love it.

Currently, we are laying on my bed watching you guessed it Criminal Minds.

And you most likely also guessed Kayden is talking about Spencer Reid.

He shuffles so he's sitting on top of my lap looking down. His gaze, however, is on my lips.

"Can I?" His voice croaks

I nod my head not trusting my voice enough right now.

He leans in so our noses touch, my heart feels like it's about to beat out of my chest. And then his lips touch mine.

For a second it was just a pec, like he was testing us both and once he realised everything was good he deepend the kiss. I bring my hands up to his hair and he groans.

The sound makes me want him even more.

I let him control the kiss not only because he kissed me first but because this is my first kiss and I have no clue what I'm doing.

"Woah." Jace's voice breaks up the kiss. Kayden rests his forehead on top of mine. Our breaths harsh.

"No invite? I'm hurt."

Any anxiety I had left my body in an instant.

A laugh flows out of me. "You can join any time beautiful."

The smirk he had fell and confusion replaced it. He walks over to the bed and lays down on his side at the foot of it.

"Beautiful?"

Don't lose your confidence now Arlo.

I pull Kayden down so he's laying on top of me and his head in my neck. And then give Jace a small smile.

"Well, you are beautiful. It would be a crime to tell you otherwise."

"You're going to make his ego larger than it already is." Kayden mumbles into the side of my neck.

His fingers are trailing up and down my sides brining more comfort than I thought it would.

Jace grabs one of the throw cushions I placed at the end of the bed and throws it at Kayden's head, Making it hit me as well.

I internally roll my eyes.

"Shush, you love my ego" The smirk that plays on his face makes me smile.

He's so in love with the guys. I hope one day he can be with me also. Because I can tell I'm very close to being in love with all the guys.

"I do not."

I let out a chuckle. "You two are like kids I swear." 

"Tell me about it." Matteo muses from the doorway.

Wow, he looks good today. He's wearing a white T-shirt that hugs tight to his body showing off his very impressive muscles. Paired with black baggy jeans. His hair is dishevelled making him look so good.

Jace must be thinking the same thing because he lets out a whistle. "Damn Matteo you look good."

Matteo walks over to the bed and climbs over Jace who is now lying on his back. Matteo strokes Jace's hair out of his face and lightly pecks Jace's forehead and then both of his cheeks, then he moves to Jace's nose, and lastly, he pecks Jace's lips. When he backs away from the kiss he gives Jace an earth-shattering smile. 

I feel the butterflies for him.

"Thank you, baby." He gives Jace a once over and says.  

"You look good too." Jace blushes at the compliment. He blushes! 

Matteo must of seen it because he smirks and gives Jace one final peck before he gets up off the bed. Surprising me, he walks over to Kayden and I, leans down and gives Kayden who is already leaning up for Matteo a kiss. He then turns to me and gives a look to ask me if it's okay and I smile in answer. Matteo lightly Grasps my face and gives me a kiss that lasted a little longer than the others, like he was trying to savour it. 

Before he leaves the room he gives Kayden a playful look. "I came up to let you know that my brother will be here soon so get out of your pjs please." 

That statement was directed at Kayden and I who didn't think it was necessary to get dressed when we weren't doing anything today.

Jace lets out a snicker. "Did you hear that Kayden? Marcel will be here soon." 

Kayden lets out a grumble and grabs the throw cushion from earlier and flings it at Jace. "Oh shut up. I don't like him like that."

Jace raises his eyebrows and tilts his head. "yes you do stop lying. I mean I totally get why Kayden, he looks a lot like Matteo." 

Proving his point Finn runs in the room with a smirk on his face as well. "Did you hear that Marcel is coming Kayden?"

"ughhh not you as well Finn."

I can't help but let out a laugh which Jace and Finn join in on. My mouth speaks before I even realise what I'm about to say. "Oh there's definitely a story here and I need to know it."

Finn jumps in to speak before Kayden can deny it. I place my hand under Kayden's T-shirt and run my hands up and down his back getting ready for the story, Kayden relaxes at the action and I make it mental note to do that when he's stressed.

"Okay so as you may or may not know me and Kayden were the last ones here before you so had never met Matteo's brother."

I nod to show I'm listening and he carries on. 

"One day Kayden and I had been in the garden all day because it had been one of the hottest days of the year, anyways when we came back inside I swear Kayden stopped in his tracks like he had seen a ghost and when I looked to where Kayden was looking there he stood in all his glory."

I chuckle. "You guys are making him sound like he's one of the hottest guys on the planet."

Jace shakes his head "Nah, our guys are better but he is good-looking for sure." 

One word stuck out in that sentence and that word was 'our' and I now officially love that word.

Finn waves his hand in the air. "Getting back to the story. It was like Kayden had fallen in love right there, I swear he had googly eyes and everything. When Marcell introduced himself to Kayden and I, Kayden couldn't seem to get his words out and when he did he was stuttering all over the place."  

Kayden sighs. "I've never been able to live it down. I can't even look the guy in his face."

I give him a kiss on his head. "Oh, you poor baby. But unfortunately for you, you're gonna have to today. So let's go and get dressed so you don't embarrass yourself even more."

All I can think after the conversation is, is he really that good-looking?
