Cloud wakes up early in the morning and prepares breakfast for the both of them, taking the special little hidden gift as he does so. Once he finishes cooking, he goes up and gently wakes up Mari.

Cloud: "Mari, wake up... We have to spend as much time together as we can..."

Mari tosses and turns, not wanting to get out of the comfortable bed that they slept in.

Mari: "five more minutes... I'm... Really sleepy... "

Mari pulls Cloud closer and hugs him

Cloud doesn't resist and hugs her back, trying to hold back his tears

Cloud: "Alright... Just-... Just a few more minutes..."

After a few minutes, Mari was still sound asleep so Cloud decided to carry her. Mari slowly
wakes up in Cloud's arms but she pretends to sleep. Cloud lays her down on the couch and kisses her forehead.

Cloud: "Wake up sleepy, it's time for breakfast."

Cloud says while slowly shaking her.

Mari pretends to have waken up from the shaking, however she was awake the entire time and almost blushed when Cloud kissed him.

Mari: "Yes yes... I'm awake..."

They sit down at the dinner table and start slowly eating, the dinner table is filled with silence while their thoughts are filled with Cloud's leave.

Once they finish breakfast Mari helps cloud pack his stuff and notices all of the gifts she gave to Cloud still there. She can't help but tear up, she tries to cover herself as she cries but Cloud noticed it and runs up to hug her

Mari: "Cloud... Don't leave me... We didn't even spend enough time together Cloud... Please don't... leave..."

She says while crying on his shoulder, her voice so low and soft Cloud can barely even hear her.

Cloud: "We can't.. we can't do anything about it Mari... But don't worry... I'll come back, I'll come back eventually... Like I always have."

Mari: "Y-You better keep that promise... You know how I am about broken promises..."

Cloud: "I won't... When have I ever broken one of our promises?..."

Mari: "Y-Yeah... I trust you..."

They finish packing Cloud's stuff in silence and tears... Not a single word uttered and all that could be heard was Mari's soft whimpering.

They decide to walk to the train station instead of driving there so they could admire the beautiful sights on the way there, unfortunately though... It was all gloomy, it was raining in the morning and everything felt... sad.

Once they got there... They were both practically on the verge of breaking down and sobbing uncontrollably.

Mari: "Cloud... Please don't leave me here... You're the only one who makes me feel safe."

Cloud: "I'm... I'm sorry Mari... I really can't..."

Their voices were both low and soft... They both suppressed the urge to just break down and bawl their eyes out... They tried to stay as strong as they could...

Mari: "Cloud... Y-You know I-"

Before Mari could finish her sentence, Cloud immediately kissed her. It was a deep and passionate kiss... It felt as if time stopped for them.

Mari hugs Cloud as he kisses him... She was happy... Happy that he also felt the same way... Though she knew that she had to go... She could enjoy this moment with him.

The kiss lasted about 10 seconds... The only reason it even stopped was because Cloud was running out of time... He gave her the gifts he bought yesterday, pink matching necklaces, pink matching bracelets and pink matching rings.

Cloud: "Promise me... When I come back you'll be wearing those...

Mari: "I promise..."

Mari watched as the doors to the train slowly closed... She couldn't help but cry... Its unfortunate... She thought to herself, she couldn't do anything to stop this... She felt so weak and helpless...

Cloud gave one last weak smile as she watched the train leave.

Kingsley comes out from the corner, having seen it all pulls out his phone and takes a picture of Mari standing there. Smirking as he does so.

Fun fact!
Mari and Cloud were crowned "King and Queen" of the school! Keep this in mind.
And the sole reason why Cloud tries to act so tough is because Mari said she "liked tougher boys" when they were younger.
