The party was absolutely wild, it was filled with tons and tons of delinquents Mari has seen before having fun, smoking, drinking alcohol, etc. Mari is running around trying to find Jax, bumping into tons and tons of delinquents causing them to give her a really mean glare. She's scared, she doesn't want to stay anymore and she wishes she never even came. Seeing all these delinquents grouped up in one place having fun doing bad stuff is making her anxious... Until someone grabs her wrist, she turns around... It's Kingsley.
Kingsley: "Oh my, what are you doing here?"
He says softly with a curious gaze, he doesn't seem to be planning anything mischievous... For now atleast.
Mari: "H-Have you seen Jax anywhere?.."
Mari says while looking at the floor, obviously anxious being around so many delinquents... And Kingsley.
Kingsley: "Jax? He left earlier... Don't tell me he brought you here lol."
Mari's heart immediately sinks, the one person she trusted enough just left her alone in a party with a ton of random people. She stares at the floor with tears welling up in her eyes.
Kingsley leans in and whispers in her ear.
Kingsley: "Don't worry though, I'll protect you... Something that bitch Jax couldn't do."
Before Mari could even speak, Kingsley immediately grabbed her hand and started running
Mari: "S-Stop! Wh-where are we going?!.."
Mari tried to resist but she was too weak to even slow him down. She feels so fearful of what'll happen until they reach the corner of the club where nobody resides. Kingsley sits down and pats the seat beside him. Mari has no choice but to sit down beside him.
Kingsley: "So, why are you even here? You looking for another boyfriend?"
Kingsley says jokingly. It's clear she's just trying to get a rise out of her.
Mari: "No... Jax invited me... And I decided to come..."
Kingsley immediately bursts out into laughter. He laughs for about 10 seconds until he finally composes himself
Kingsley: "Are you guys dating or something?
Mari's face immediately turns red out of embarrassment. Dating? Really? He really thought she's some sort of whore who goes off with whoever she can?
Mari: "What are you talking about?!... I'm... Loyal to Cloud..."
Kingsley scoffs, he thought of her as some joke and he definitely still thinks of her as something to toy around with.
Kingsley: "Mhm, you hang out with Jax like... Everyday. And... Ernst too.. You're just trying to hide it."
Mari is furious, he really thinks that she's like all the other girls?... I mean she is but she's special I guess, I don't know how since only Cloud can see it for now but she is special.
Mari: "Ugh... You're... So annoying! Stop making up stuff about me! I'd rather leave right now!"
She gets up and walks away before abruptly stopping and walking back.
Mari: "Where's.. the exit?.."
Kingsley smirks before grabbing a glass and pouring some sort of alcoholic drink into it.
Kingsley: "Let's have some fun first! You came to this party to enjoy yourself after all."
Mari hesitates, she doesn't want to drink alcohol as she's never drank alcohol before even when Cloud would ask if she wanted to.
