It's been a few days since Mari came to school, Jax was absolutely fucking bored of nothing happening for the past few days. No Mari to tease, can't even find Ernst cause he's only around when Mari is around and Kingsley has been going out with his girlfriend for a while up until now.
I haven't explained why I'm doing all this... Right? Oh well... Jax has done all of this because of Kingsley... Kingsley's power and freedom makes him want to become just like him. Jax always yearned for Freedom, from a young age he was forced to become a top student. This continued until he met Kingsley and he was charmed(not in a romantic way).
Ever since the moment he met Kingsley, he's always wanted to become just like him. Eventually leading to him joining the gang of delinquents and fighting his way through the top.
Jax: "This is boring."
Anyways... Mari still hasn't answered any of his texts and he's thinking of just plain out leaking the picture but the only thing stopping him is Kingsley, he might have a use for the picture but until needed... He'll keep the picture to himself.
Jax was on the rooftop as per usual, playing some poker with his friends. He has an unusual love for poker because he's pretty smart, hes the "strategist" of the gang. He decided to surprise Kingsley with a game of poker just like how they played when it was just them in the gang.
Jax: "2 Jokers."
Kingsley: " King and Queen."
Both of them announce out loudly. 2 unbelievably lucky hands... But that all won't matter till the 5 cards are revealed... The first is... A Jack, lucky. Now Jax has a three of a kind and Kingsley has 3/5 of a royal flush. The second hand is... An ace. Very lucky. Seems like a real downhill battle for Jax here. And the 3rd card is... A King... Which doesn't help any of them.
Jax, with a really emotionless face says
Jax: "Check."
Kingsley with another emotionless face says.
Kingsley: "Raise $50."
And he dumps 50$ in the middle of the table... Jax places 50$ shortly after with a small smile.
Kingsley: "Daring, are we?"
Jax: "Indeed."
Both of them looked so dead. No reactions. No tone in their voice. Nothing.
Another card is placed on the table and this time it's... A 10. God damn. Royal flush for Kingsley. Jax looked at his cards and back to Kingsley yet he didn't seem to show any emotion.
Kingsley: "Raise 100$."
Kingsley casually slams a 100$ bill onto the table with a huge smirk on his face.
Kingsley: "Fun game, thanks for the cash though."
Kingsley was about to go and grab the money till Jax slapped a 100$ bill right Infront of him.
Jax: "Too excited, wait for the next card."
Kingsley scoffs and sits back on his chair. The last card is revealed and it's... A 4. Kingsley won.
Kingsley: "I'd like to see your cards first... Someone so daring yet... Hopeless."
Jax places his cards on the table, three of a kind Joker. And Kingsley angrily places his cards which were revealed to be a 7 and a 6.
Jax: "Aha, I win again."
Jax grabs the money and Kingsley looks at him with a confused and somewhat angry look.
Kingsley: "You're so unpredictable, you know that? I can never tell when you're bluffing or not... And you can always find out if I'm bluffing. I guess that's why you're the smartest in our group."
Jax nods and slowly walks away with a mischievous smirk on his face.
