20. Visit 2

Ohm held Fluke's hand as they strolled through the streets. As it was the festive season, the streets were bustling with activity.

The air was getting colder and colder with each day. The couple were dressed in warm clothes as they enjoyed the view of the foreign country. 

Ohm was pretty happy after spending his whole day with his beloved. But the latter didn't seem to feel the same as he looked so tensed the whole time.

As much as Ohm wanted to ask Fluke what happened, he knew that his boyfriend would tell him everything himself.

The couple walked out of the crowded streets and started climbing a sloppy road. Such roads were very common in Seoul.

As they reached the top of the slope, Fluke slowed down. The landing on the top had an amazing view of the well-lit Seoul city.

Ohm couldn't help but admire the beauty of the view in front of him.

"P' Ohm," Fluke called out making Ohm turn towards him. "I have something to tell you."

Ohm stayed silent so that his boyfriend could speak out about whatever was bothering him.

"Do you remember that Taiwan trip I went with Earth?"

"Yes, I do" Ohm pretty much had an idea about the topic of the conversation but he said nothing.

"I- I lied to you about it. I didn't go there for a trip, but to visit Fame." Fluke confessed.

He didn't dare look up at Ohm. He knew that it was not wrong to visit someone, but when that someone was a person that his boyfriend disliked, he ended up hiding the fact.

"I had transferred her to the Taipei branch of Sirene. I went to Taipei after I was informed that she woke up from the coma." Fluke clenched the hem of his padded jacket.

"I know," Ohm said in a low voice. He was actually happy that Fluke transferred her away from them. "I also know that you have only visited her once in the duration of the past few years."

Fluke bit his lips, feeling more nervous than ever. The part he said till now was okay. But the rest of the truth... he didn't know how Ohm was going to react to that.

He flew over to Seoul with the determination to come clean about Fame's pregnancy with his boyfriend. He was well aware of how hurt Ohm would feel if he found out about the matter from elsewhere.

He still feared the outcome of revealing everything to Ohm. He was also conscious of the fact that the news had the ability to change everything in their relationship. No matter what happened to them, he wanted it to be Ohm's decision. Whatever Ohm wanted to do, he was willing to follow through.

"That day, the doctors informed me that Fame had been refusing to go on physiotherapy. I tried talking to her and she put forward one condition" Fluke paused.

Ohm stared at Fluke intently. Even though he knew about Fluke's visit, he had no clue about the whole condition thing "And that was?"

"Em... She said she wanted to be the mother of my child." Fluke said.

"Then? Did you agree?"

Fluke slowly nodded. He felt like a complete trash at the moment. "She wanted to go into IVF. So, I made the donation."

Ohm pressed his lips together, not showing any change in emotions on his face. "Isn't that old news? Why are you confessing all this now?"

"As per our agreement, she had promised me that she would take my permission before going into an IVF. But a few months ago, she went behind my back and got herself inseminated. Now she is pregnant with my child." Fluke said. 

"So? Do you want me to congratulate you?" Ohm asked nonchalantly.

Fluke looked up at Ohm with watery eyes. He was in pain. His fears were taking over his senses. He felt weak. 

Ohm pulled Fluke into his arms with a smile. He didn't want to tease his boyfriend anymore "Congratulations baby. You are going to be a Por!" He kissed the top of Fluke's head.

"Y-You are not mad at me?" Fluke asked in a trembling voice.

"Why would I be mad at you? It's not your fault that everything ended up like this. You only wanted to help her as a friend and she was guilt-tripping you. She and Mist always made it look like you were the reason for her state and you should be responsible."

Ohm's words made Fluke's whole body quiver.

Fluke threw himself into Ohm's arms and started wailing like a baby. The past few days had been a living hell for him.

After having heard of the news of Fame's pregnancy, he had been blaming himself for the predicament he was in. Even his friends who had known him since diapers pointed fingers at him, calling him a jerk for making an agreement like that with Fame.

But nobody had thought from his position. It was not that he didn't want to reject Fame, but he just couldn't. He couldn't turn his back on someone who lost almost everything in their life because of him. He couldn't leave someone on larch just like that.

Yet, no one understood. No one bothered to understand. It might be because of the strong, self-sufficient, arrogant persona he projected towards his close ones whom he wanted to protect that they never thought that there might be situations when he would be weak too.

While travelling to Seoul to talk to Ohm, Fluke had expected different versions of reactions from Ohm but never the current one. He had even prepared himself to get dumped once the news was revealed. Yet when nothing of that sort happened, relief washed over him.

All the sleepless nights he spent in the past few days, worrying about how Ohm would react to the news were in vain. Even the last night, despite being in the arms of the person he loved the most, he was scared that it might be their last night together.

Ohm gently patted his boyfriend's back as the latter was crying his eyes out. The scene was too heartwrenching for him. His Noo was just too kind to the people he cared about.

"Noo, Baby, look at me." Ohm cupped Fluke's little face with his huge hands and made him look up. He could see how cute and soft Fluke looked after crying so much.

Fluke couldn't stop his tears as he saw Ohm looking at him with full adoration.

"Hey. Hey. Don't start crying again alright? You know I hate to see your tears." Ohm wiped Fluke's tears and kissed his eyes.

Fluke sniffled holding himself back from crying anymore.

"Noo, you don't have to feel bad about whatever happened. I am okay with it. I am okay as long as you are willing to be with me. To be in love with me. It's not like you cheated on me or anything."

Fluke stared at his shoes as he couldn't look Ohm in his eyes.

"Noo, I know you love me as much as I do and you are not going to let anything, absolutely anything ruin what we have, right?"
