After finishing their ice creams, they continued their fun-filled adventure through the amusement park.
Bew, still buzzing with excitement despite his face paint slowly smudging, tugged at Boun's hand, pointing toward a nearby mini roller coaster designed for young children. It was small enough to be safe for a five-year-old, but fast enough to give Bew a thrilling experience.
"Dada! Dami! Can we go on that?" Bew asked, eyes wide with anticipation.
Prem looked at Boun, who nodded. "Sure thing, buddy," Prem said, smiling down at Bew. They made their way to the mini coaster, and soon enough, they were strapped into their seats.
Bew sat in between Boun and Prem, his little hands clutching the safety bar in front of him.
As the coaster started to ascend the small hill, Bew was already giggling, his legs swinging in excitement.
The ride wasn't too fast, but for Bew, it was a whirlwind of fun. Every dip and turn made him squeal with joy, and both Boun and Prem couldn't help but laugh along with him.
By the time the ride ended, Bew was bouncing in his seat, his tiger face a little messier but his grin still bright.
"Dada, Dami! That was so fun! Can we go again?" Bew asked, his energy seemingly endless.
Boun chuckled. "How about we try something different now? What do you think, Bew?"
Bew thought for a moment before spotting another ride in the distance—a gentle flying elephant ride where the elephants floated slowly in circles and went up and down at the riders' control. Bew's face lit up again. "That one! I want to fly like the elephants!"
The three of them headed toward the ride, and soon enough, they were seated in one of the elephants, with Bew firmly holding onto the joystick that controlled the height of their elephant. Bew's giggles filled the air as he made their elephant soar high, then quickly brought it back down, only to rise again moments later.
Boun and Prem sat beside him, enjoying watching their son's boundless joy.
"Look, Dada! We are flying!" Bew squealed, his hands firmly on the controls, his feet swinging back and forth with excitement.
After the flying elephant ride, they decided to take a break and wander through the carnival games section.
Bew's eyes widened at the sight of the colorful booths, with stuffed animals hanging from the roofs as prizes. His gaze landed on a large plush lion, and he tugged at Boun's hand. "Dada, Dami! Can we win that lion?"
Boun grinned. "Of course, let's give it a try." They approached a game booth where players had to throw rings onto bottles. It was one of those games that looked easy but was deceptively difficult.
Bew watched intently as Boun and Prem tried their luck, each taking turns tossing the rings.
Boun managed to land one on a bottle, earning a smaller prize, but it was Prem who hit the jackpot on his third throw, landing the ring perfectly and winning the plush lion. Bew jumped up and down with joy. "Dami, you did it!"
Prem handed the lion to Bew, who hugged it tightly, his face glowing with happiness. "Thank you, Dami! I'm going to name him Leo!"
"Leo it is," Prem said, smiling at his son's enthusiasm.
With Leo the lion now in tow, Bew spotted yet another ride—a spinning swing ride where kids sat in swings that gently twirled in circles.
Bew loved the idea of flying through the air on his own, so Boun and Prem walked him over to the swings and helped him into his seat.
As the ride started, Bew's feet kicked out, and he leaned back in his swing, arms outstretched, laughing as the cool breeze blew through his hair.
"Look at me! I am flying!" he shouted, his laughter carrying over the cheerful music of the park.
Boun and Prem watched from the sidelines, their hearts full as they saw how much fun Bew was having. They had always known that making memories with their son would be special, but days like this, filled with joy and laughter, reminded them just how precious these moments were.
After the swing ride, they took a stroll around the park, stopping for some carnival snacks—cotton candy and popcorn. Bew was practically bouncing between them, sharing bits of his cotton candy with Leo and talking nonstop about the rides he'd been on and the ones he still wanted to try.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the park, Bew spotted one last ride he wanted to try: the family boat ride. It was a peaceful ride that drifted lazily through a scenic waterway, surrounded by colorful lights and gentle music. It was the perfect way to end the day.
The three of them boarded the small boat, Bew sitting between Boun and Prem, clutching Leo tightly in his arms. As the boat glided through the water, Bew's eyes widened in awe at the twinkling lights that reflected off the water's surface.
"Dada, Dami, this is the best day ever," Bew said softly, his voice filled with contentment.
Prem smiled, wrapping an arm around Bew's shoulders. "I am glad you had fun, buddy."
Boun leaned in, kissing the top of Bew's head. "We did too."
By the time the boat ride ended, Bew was visibly exhausted, but the smile on his face never wavered. As they made their way back to the car, Bew's steps slowed, and he yawned, his energy finally beginning to wane.
Boun scooped Bew up in his arms, carrying him the rest of the way. Bew rested his head on Boun's shoulder, clutching Leo in one hand, his eyes fluttering closed as they walked.
When they reached the car, Bew was already fast asleep. They gently buckled him into his car seat, his little hand still gripping his new plush toy. As they drove home, Boun glanced in the rearview mirror, watching Bew sleep soundly, his face painted like a tiger, his day filled with happiness.
Prem, sitting in the passenger seat, turned to look at their sleeping son. He felt an overwhelming sense of contentment. He reached out and ruffled Boun's hair, his voice soft. "You were such a good Dada today."
Boun smirked, glancing over at Prem. "Oh? And what does a good Dada get as a reward? Maybe a kiss like Bew?"
Prem smiled but didn't move, teasing him. "You think you deserve one?"
Boun chuckled, reaching over and pulling Prem closer by the front of his sweatshirt. "Come here."
The world outside seemed to fade, leaving just the two of them in this tender moment. Boun gently tugged at the front of Prem's sweatshirt, pulling him even closer. Their lips met in a slow, unhurried kiss, filled with warmth and affection.
It wasn't rushed or hurried, but soft and deliberate, like they had all the time in the world.
The kiss held a kind of sweetness, a lingering connection that spoke of the love and understanding they shared. There was no need for words.
In that simple gesture, they conveyed everything—gratitude for the day they had shared, joy for the life they had built together, and a deep contentment that came from being with one another.
Boun's hand rested on Prem's cheek, his thumb brushing gently against his skin.
Prem smiled into the kiss, feeling the familiar warmth of Boun's presence.
When they finally pulled back, their foreheads touched, a quiet moment of peace between them, a perfect conclusion to their day.
