After a few hours, we finally reached the hotel...well...his family's hotel, and as soon as Ji-Hoon - I mean Yeon-Jae parked the car by the entrance, all the employees ranging from the valet to the security guards outside bowed as if they memorized the car he drove.

He then turned to glance at me, and I looked away and faced out the windows like how I'd been doing during the entire ride. Every time he looked at me, I couldn't help but look away because I couldn't stop thinking about how embarrassed I was. I mean, what was I thinking about being so emotionally vulnerable like that? I didn't even know him enough to practically pour out my heart to him. Gosh, I just wanted to get out of here and forget this day ever happened.

"You can leave on your own."

He said and I looked back at him. "Huh?"

"This isn't my car. I borrowed one of Yeon-Jin's cars today, so they think that it's him inside the car right now. I can't get out because I can't let people know who I am yet, remember?"

"Oh...yeah," I said and I started fiddling with the door handle.

As I did so, he unbuckled his seat belt and leaned towards me. Oh, my goodness what was he trying to do now? He kept on leaning in as he extended his arm. He was leaning in so close to me that I had to look away because my heart was beating so fast, it could jump out of my chest.

I heard a click and looked down to see that he just unbuckled my seat belt.

"You forgot to unbuckle your seat belt-"

"Okay, thanks. Bye." I said as I quickly exited the car. I then bowed before closing the car and galloped towards the entrance of the hotel. I hoped I never had to see him again.

But somewhere deep down in my heart, I knew that wasn't going to be the case.

I heard my phone ring and opened my eyes to sit up while having a throbbing pain in my head.

I then reached the phone and noticed that it was an alarm. Wow, I must've fallen asleep as soon as I reached my hotel room because everything that happened after I got home last night was a blur. I got up and immediately freshened up.

I then opened the door of my suit and saw Mr. Jones sitting on the couch, using his tablet as usual.

Come to think of it. I didn't call him last night to let him know that he didn't have to pick me up. I stared at him and noticed that he looked nonchalant...as usual and not annoyed or angry.

"Good morning," I said to him, and he looked up at me. "You're up early. Wait. Since when do you greet me in the morning?"

"Forget it. I take it back now." I said as I folded my arms, and he shrugged before getting back to whatever he was doing with his tablet.

Something was...off. "Aren't you angry at me?"

"Angry at you? For what?" he asked as he looked at me in confusion.

"I forgot to tell you about yesterday-"

"Oh, you're talking about yesterday? Don't worry about it. The manager from L'Amour de la Cuisine told me everything. Although, I was quite shocked and confused about how he got invited to the party. However, I guess it was because he's a manager at their only restaurant outside the hotel, which was why they invited him. Those people have good hearts, it seems."

"Huh? You mean Ji-Hoon, the manager called you? Not Yeon-Jae, the second son of the chairman of this hotel?"

Mr. Jones looked up at me and squinted his eyes "What are you talking about?"
