Ji-Hoon/Yeon-jae
A few minutes agoI exited the car and gave the valet the keys. I then looked at the building and sighed to myself. I really didn't want to come but I couldn't miss his birthday...again. It was not like I wasn't close to him (because of course I was) it was just that I was not really allowed to meet up with him nor my family during this time. It's kind of a long story.
I was glad I came a bit late though, because the paparazzi and fans weren't around anymore. I didn't want them to question me, do a background check on me and find out that I was actually Yeon-Jin's younger brother.
I entered the building and was hit with loud music and people chatting amongst themselves. They turned their heads to face me and stared for a while. This, this was what I didn't like about parties. I walked as quickly as I could but was stopped by a group of four girls.
"Excuse me. Are you an actor or singer? I haven't seen you before." one of them said as she tilted her head. Not this again.
"None." I replied and they grinned as they looked at each other.
"Then you must be a model or businessman? Are you close to Yeon-Jin or something?" the other one asked but I didn't reply.
They looked at me for a while but noticed that I wasn't going to respond. "Well, it doesn't matter. We'll introduce ourselves first. We're a kpop group. We-"
"What are you doing?"
We all turned our heads and saw a fairly tall, young woman with purple hair approaching us. I turned my head to face the girls and they looked annoyed. The woman approached us and squinted her eyes at the girls before turning to face me.
"I told you guys not to approach people like that. You'll make them feel uncomfortable. Also, you're not allowed to flirt with anyone, remember?" she commended to the girls, and they looked away, probably a bit ashamed.
"Sorry about that. I wasn't around to watch over them. I'm Min Bo-Ra. I'm the leader of this kpop group." she said as she bowed, and I raised my eyebrow. Her name was Bo-Ra, and her hair was purple. That's quite ironic.
Bo-Ra means purple in Korean
I nodded before turning around to walk away.
"Wait." she said, and I stopped and glanced at her.
"Are you perhaps going to the VVIP section?" she asked, and I tilted my head.
"How do you know that?"
"Because it seems like you're heading that way. Or are you not..."
"Do you know me?" I asked and she looked around before shaking her head. "I was just guessing. Sorry if I offended you."
I waved my hand "And if I'm going to the VVIP section?"
"Oh, I just wanted to give this to Yeon-Jin as a gift." she said as she held up a wrapped box with both hands
I stared at the gift and then at her and she shook her head vigorously. "It's not what you think! It's from the company they wanted to thank Yeon-Jin's mother for allowing me to model for her jewelry and perfume brand."
After staring at it for a while, I extended my hand and took the box before heading up stairs using the elevator.
I made my way to the VVIP section, and the staff bowed as I walked past them. One of then opened the French doors and I stepped into the room.
