It's been 17 days. 17, slow, miserably fucking days of being stuck in the same room. Granted, Dave had brought you your sketchbook, some school homework, and The Hobbit - both the movies and book. Other than that, he never left your side.

Dave had you wrapped up tight in his arms with his stomach to your back. You smiled gently and turned in the circle of his arms. His red eyes were open, sparkling mischievously.

"Dave," you complained. "We're in a hospital."

Dave frowned slightly. "What? Embarrassed to be seen with me?"

You poked him in the chest. "That's not it, Dave, and you know it."

"Okay, okay, I got a little over clingy." Dave smirked. "But you get to go home today."

You nearly exploded with joy. "Oh my gog, really?" You wrangled from Dave's grip and swung your legs over the side of the bed.

"Noooooo," he whined. "Not yet."

"Boy, you better get the fuck out of that fucking bed and check me out of this fucking hospital right fucking now."

Dave gave you a crazy look. "But (Y/N), I'm still sleepy!"

"You can sleep at home, Strider," you growled. "I want to get out of this fucking hospital. Because reasons." [<---- EH EH HEHEHHE DID YOU SEE DAT? DAT WAS FOR YOU MUFFIN 😘]

"Okay, okay." Dave got out of the hospital bed and grabbed your clothes that you wore when the accident happened. Since you had limited use of your arms, Dave had to help you with most things. He pulled your hospital gown over your head for you and slid your t-shirt down to cover your bandages that still covered your entire upper body. Then he held out a pair of jeans so you could step in them. You placed your weak arms on his shoulders and slid your right leg in, then your left.

"Thank you," you said sheepishly.

Dave then kissed you on the forehead and picked up his shades, phone, and the things he had brought for you. "Come on." He held out his arm, which you gladly put some weight on.

"You're the best boyfriend," you said absentmindedly.

"I know." Dave smirked then turned to the lady at the desk, who he gave your name, room number, and date of arrival. She smiled at us and gave us a farewell.

<<Leh time skip brought by the awesome, one and only, absolutely cool Dave Strider>>

Dave pulled up in front of your house and stopped. It was just how you remember leaving it.

"Home," you whispered. He turned the key off and jogged to your side of the car. Dave opened the door just as it started raining. He reached in and pulled you out, leading you to your house. Magically he produced a key and inserted it into the lock. Dave smiled and let me push open the door.

My, was it a mess. Glass, pillows, papers, everywhere. Someone had broke in. The window in the back was broken and your house was completely ransacked. Any electronics you had managed to scrounge up money for were gone, and so were any paintings of yours that you had hung up.

You muffled a sob and fell into Dave's arms. He pulled you into him, cradling you like a child.

"I'm so sorry," he whispered.

You screamed into his chest and he gripped you tighter. Dave carried you up the stairs to your bed and laid you down gently.

You heard him vacuuming, and you really wanted to help. You felt guilty for being hurt, for you having to rely on him. Dave started singing, and you couldn't help but laugh.

"Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh! Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh! You pour a sour little flavor in my mouth now. You move in circles hoping no one's gonna find out. But we're so lucky! Kiss the ring and let me bow down. Looking for the time of your life. No one's gonna find out."

The shitty perverted ass was now a thieving shitty perverted ass! He had taken your phone, and was listening to your music. <<if you don't like that music then seriously. Get out. No jk love you>> You still had to laugh at him, though. He wasn't all that bad of a singer.

Dave's Awesome Cool Kid POV

"Out the back door goddamn but I love her anyway! I love her anyway!" I yell-sang.

(Y/N) was up in her bedroom taking a nap. I felt so bad. I should have walked her home that night. If I had, she'd be up and running and she wouldn't have gotten hurt. I couldn't help but to think it was all my fault.

Someone knocked on the door. I opened it, still with headphones in. It was the gang.

"Dave!" They cheered until they noticed the house.

"What happened?" Sollux gulped.

"Someone broke in while (Y/N) was in the hospital."

Kanaya spoke up. "Speaking of which, where's (Y/N)?"

"Her bedroom, upstairs on the-" they bolted past me before I could finish his sentence. "Left."

Back To Reader-chan's POV

They came barreling in. You barely had time to scream before they bombarded you with a barrel full of hugs. "(Y/N)!"

"Whaaaaaauuuugh!" You made a wired noise. "Seriously? It's called knocking!"

"We're glad your okay! They wouldn't let us in to see you! Only one and that was Dave," Nepeta pouted. "Sollux even tried messing with the security system."

"Oh my gog, that's a little overkill, don't you think?" You laughed.

I don't like this chapter as much as I like some others. Okay WHY DIDNT THEY CALL THE POLICE??? LIKE WTF MAN???!!!
Reason: Beautiful Reader-chan is still avoiding social services and is still trying to stay out of 'the system.' Hope you liked it? Love you all! ;)
