Victorious: Ten Years Later

Toby's POV

Man, work was a killer today! I just got home to my apartment and laid my keys on the kitchen counter. It's five in the afternoon, I've been working since nine this morning and I am beat! I have a job at Wanko's. Remember? The warehouse store that Tori and her friends kind of snuck into for a big sale ten years ago? Anyway, I've been working full-time there for six months now. As I walked into the living room I called for Lita to see if she was here.

"Lita? Are you here?" I yelled for her.

There was no answer, she must be out and about. I then looked on the coffee table and there was a note laying there. I unfolded the note and started reading it.

"Toby, if you find this note once you get home and wonder where I am, I'm hanging out with the girls at the mall since it's my day off from work. I'll be home shortly. Your love, Lita. ❤ P.S. let me know what you want for dinner tonight."

I smiled at the note and placed it back on the table. I sat down on the couch and turned the TV on. As usual, nothing is on. So I decided to browse my phone until I got a call from my best friend Josh.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Yo Toby, what's up bro?" He said.

"Hey Josh what's happening?" I said.

"Listen, Tyler has not been the same since him and Carmen stopped speaking to each other." He said.

"I know, I hate that a rumor came in between their relationship." I said.

"I know my brother, he would never intentionally hurt someone. Especially someone he loves." He said.

"Yeah, that was five years ago. I can't believe that they still won't talk this out." I said.

"Tyler told me that he tried to call her but she snapped on him and blocked his number." Josh said.

"Darn it. Well when Lita gets home maybe she can help with this situation." I said.

"That sounds good to me! and if you can, try talking to Tyler for me bro." He said.

"Sure thing man, I'll see what I can do." I said.

"Great, well I'm going to go shoot some hoops with Will, see ya man." He said.

"See ya bro." I hung up.

After the conversation with Josh I decided to call Tyler. I put my phone back to my ear as it rung. It took awhile fore him to answer but he finally did.

"Hello?" His deep voice said.

"Yo Tyler how are you man?" I asked.

"Eh, I'm okay I guess." He softly said.

"I can tell you're feeling down, I know it's about Carmen." I said.

"Yeah, she hates me now. I can't believe that stupid girl kissed me, back in high school!" He said.

"I know man but, where is that girl now?" I asked.

"I don't know and I really don't care! She cost me to loose the one girl that I cared about!" He said.

"Listen, why don't you come over to my house and we can talk about this?" I offered.

"Um, okay sure." He said.

"Awesome, see you in a bit!" I said.

"See ya." He said hanging up.

I put my phone in my pocket and laid on the couch and took a nap, I wanted to get a little bit of shut eye before Tyler came over.
