Carmen's Psycho Ex Boyfriend?!

Toby's POV

I got off work early today. I'm at my house trying to change the light bulbs in our bathroom when I got a phone call. "Hello?" I answered.

"Toby what's up?" My sister Tori said.

"The sky." I joked.

"Very funny." She laughed. "So how did everything go yesterday?"

"It was great. Carmen saw the video and she now knows that Tyler didn't cheat on her five years ago." I explained.

"That's good to hear. But listen I need you to run to the store for me real quick if you can. Beck hasn't gotten home yet." She explained.

"Sure what do you need?" I said.

"I need some milk, but make sure it's two percent. And I need some water, bell peppers and onions." She explained.

"Okay gotcha. I have it all written down." I said.

"Thanks little bro, see you later." She said.

I hung up and finished putting the new light bulbs in. I washed my hands and headed to the store for her.

Carmen's POV

I'm at my workplace which is a coffee shop washing the dishes when one of my co-workers came up to me.

"Carmen?" She called me.

"Yeah Jessie?" I stopped what I was doing.

"Um someone is here to see you." She said.

"Who?" I raised my eyebrow.

"I don't know, some guy name Robert." She said with confusion.

"Robert? What is he doing here?" I mumbled to myself.

I dried my hands and walked up front to the counters where the cash registers were. What could Robert possibly want with me? And why is he looking for me? Robert was my ex boyfriend. I met him in October 2021, we dated for a year until I broke up with him in November 2022. The reason why is because I just wasn't ready to date again and that I was still healing over the 2018 incident with Amanda showing the video of her kissing Tyler. And also he's very paranoid and aggressive. Once I walked up front there he was standing there.

"Um... Hey Robert." I slowly said.

"Hi Carmen." He said.

"Why are you here?" I asked with my arms crossed.

"I... I... I came to take you back!" He boldly said.

"Excuse me?" I frowned at him.

"I'm taking you back!" He said.

"Robert... You know I'm not getting back together with you." I said.

"But why?" He raised his voice.

"Because first off, your always getting angry and paranoid, and two, I don't want to date right now." I explained with a serious look on my face.

"None of that is true! I've changed!" He said making me roll my eyes.

"Robert I don't have time for this. I have work to do." I said.

"Please babe, give me a second chance!" He said.

"Nu uh, do NOT call me babe again!" I sternly said.

"Who is he?" He said in a low tone.

"Who's who?" I asked looking confused.

"Who is the other guy your seeing?" He asked.

"There is no other guy." I rolled my eyes. "See, this is why I broke up with you!"
