Toby's POV

Last night was great, Tyler and I got Ms. Martinez's blessing to marry Lita and Carmen. I'm working today and its a very busy day, working during this time of the year is crucial! Christmas is in three days and I can't wait, I also decided when I'll propose to Lita. I'm going to do it on new years day, the same day Tyler will be proposing to Carmen. Josh also told us that he'll be doing the same thing with Maya! We're going to pop the question once midnight hits on January first. It's going to be very special, I'm stocking up some items on the shelves and counting to make sure that everything is in place.

I sighed to myself. "Nice."

It was then time for my lunch break, I went to the employees room and got out my lunch that Lita packed for me and started eating. My phone rung and I saw that Josh was calling.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Toby what's up dude?" He said on the other end.

"The sky of course." I joked.

He chuckled. "Funny, but look Tyler told me that you guys got Ms. Martinez's blessing to marry Lita and Carmen!"

"Yeah she was happy that we came to her and asked for it." I said.

"I already asked Maya's parents for theirs." He said.

"Man this is exciting, I can't wait for new years!" I said.

"So all three of us are proposing to our girlfriends on new years?" He asked.

"Yeah that's right." I said.

"It's gonna be big bro, this is what I've always dreamed of." He said.

"Yeah." I sat back in my chair and sighed. "Proposing to our high school sweethearts, it's like a dream come true."

"Welp, I'm gonna let you go, Maya and I are actually going to visit her parents in a bit." He explained.

"That's cool, you two have fun." I said.

"Thanks, see ya bro!" He hung up.

I sat my phone down and finished up my lunch, this Christmas will be special, nothing is going to going to stop that.

Carmen's POV

Okay so I'm at the coffee shop working and my best friend Jessie has been acting a little weird. She's been smiling nonstop and she's kind of been giggling uncontrollably. As I was putting some apple fritters in the display she started giggling uncontrollably again, I've never seen this side of her before. I slowly turned my head to the sink where she was cleaning the dishes and she was giggling while doing so.

I held my laughter. "Jess?"

She looked over at me. "Hmm?"

"A-are you okay?" I nearly chuckled.

"Yeah I'm fine, why?" She tilted her head.

"You've been giggling nonstop over there for the past five minutes, what's so funny huh?" I dusted off my hands.

"Nothing's funny, it's just I- went by the game store last night." She continued to rinse the dishes.

"Which game store?" I folded my arms.

"The one down at the shopping center." She said.

"You mean Cody's game store?" I folded my arms.

"Yeah." She said.

"Okay but why are you so giggly?" I asked.

"Well, I went there to get my six year old nephew a Nintendo Switch for Christmas, and he said he wanted to get to know me more." She blushed.
