Jessie's POV

I was sobbing into Carmen's arms as she held and comforted me. I was so happy that I saw my dad, this was something that I've been waiting for.

"Oh Jess, that's great news." She said.

I broke the hug and sniffed while wiping my eyes. "Yeah, I was completely shock to see him." I said.

"When did this happen?" She asked.

"Just a few minutes ago, while I was at the park." I explained.

"Wow, that's crazy!" She said.

"The second I saw him I just burst into tears." I explained. "I didn't expect to see him there."

"Jessie, this is great for you. Man the holidays this year has been something else!" Carmen shook her head and laughed.

"I know right. First your dad and now mine." I giggled.

"I'm very happy for you Jessie!" She exclaimed.

"Thank you Carmen." I said.

We gave each other a big hug and started talking about her engagement.

Tuesday January 2nd, 2024

Toby's POV

The next day Lita and I were talking about the plans for the wedding. Also Lita has a doctor appointment for ultrasounds today, we were going to find out the baby's gender and I couldn't wait.

"Babe, I can't wait to see what gender our baby is going to be." I said.

"I can't wait either Toby, I do really hope it's a girl though." She laughed.

"I hope it's a boy, but no matter the gender, we'll still love it regardless." I said.

"Right." Lita smiled.

"I'm going to ask Tori if she would like to go with us." I said.

"Yeah that would be great." She said.

Lita paused for a moment and sat up on the couch while holding her stomach. I looked at her with concern.

Lita are you alright?" I asked.

"I feel sick." She said.

That's when she got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up. I ran behind her and she was on her knees throwing up in the toilet. After she finished she flushed it and stood to her feet, I guided her back to the living room and laid her on the couch.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes, this morning sickness is so annoying." She sighed.

After a couple of hours, it was time for us to go to her appointment for the ultrasounds.

Tyler's POV

I was out with Carmen getting some food and she told me what was going on with Jessie yesterday.

"So... Jessie finally saw her dad?" I asked.

"Yup, her dad who she haven't seen since 2017." She said.

"That a huge blessing, I know she was really happy to see him." I said.

"She said she was, but look, I was wondering something." I said.

"What is it angel?" I asked.

Carmen grabbed both of my hands. "Um... I was wondering... If you and I should have kids as well?"
