Toby's POV

It's two in the afternoon and I'm back at work. I'm still a tad bit sore from yesterday but I feel pretty good. Yesterday was a day that I defiantly didn't expect! That Robert jerk is a monster, why is he so obsessed with Carmen? Can't the guy just take a hint? I was stocking up some supplies on the shelves when someone came up to me.

"Working hard I see?" A familiar voice said.

I turned aroun to see that it was my Dad! Man am I glad to see him!

"Dad!" I said hugging him.

"Hey son, I heard what happened to you. How are you?" He said.

"I'm fine, still a little sore but I'm hanging in there." I laughed.

"Look, I know the guy that's been causing trouble for you and your friends." He explained.

"Really?" I crossed my arms.

"Yeah, and me and my crew are going to do everything we can to bring him down! Especially since he put his hands on my son!" He said.

"Aww dad, thanks for that. It was unexpected yesterday! But I managed to fight off him and his friends to escape!" I explained.

"I heard that he used to date your friend, Carmen right?" He asked.

"Yup, she dated him two years ago but broke up with him last year because she said he was acting paranoid and aggressive towards her." I explained.

"I see, and now he wants revenge?" Dad placed his hand on his chin.

"Apparently, he abused Carmen on the night of her birthday. Before that he was stalking her a month ago." I said.

"I talked to her and your other friend Tyler about what happened. I went over to his house last night and they told me the story." He said. "She had on a sling and her eye had a little bruise on it."

"Yeah thanks to Robert." I folded my arms. "The bruise on her eye was much worse before."

"Well son, I promise I will take this guy down!" He said.

"I know you will, I believe in you dad!" I said.

"By the way, how did you manage to escape from Robert and his gang?" He curiously asked.

"Well he had me tied to a chair in his basement, but he only tied up my arms. He completely forgot to tie up my legs!" I was about to laugh.

"Man... What an idiot!" Dad shook his head.

"That's what I said!" I threw my hands in the air and laughed.

We shared a laughed and then he was about to leave. "Well son, I'm not gonna hold you up any longer so I'll catch you later." He said.

"Bye dad." I waved.

He left and I continued my work. It's always good to see and talk with my dad. What a guy!

Lita's POV

I'm at Carmen's workplace getting some coffee. She's not here at work by the way because she's still recovering. I was at a table drinking my latte when I was joined by Jessie.

"Hey girl!" She sat down.

"Oh hi Jessie." I smiled.

"Listen, I just got off of the phone with your sister Carmen and she told me about your boyfriend Toby yesterday." She explained. "I'm glad he's okay."
