"Okay, right now there is a MAJOR problem between you two." Kirstie began. "And that problem is a lack of communication! It's a simple fix, really." Kirstie said while pacing in front of the two boys.
She spoke with confidence, like she had it all figured out. "We just need to get you and Avi alone together so that y'all can talk it out!"
Mitch sighed. She said that as if it was the easiest thing in the world.
"I've tried that, but he won't even stay in the same room as me for more then twenty minutes, and that's with you guys there!" Mitch groaned. Why was everything so difficult?
"How the hell can I get him alone?""Don't worry. Here's what we're going to do..." Kirstie explained her plot to the boys.
Mitch was unsure if this plan would work, but sense he didn't have any better ideas he decided to give it a shot.
__________________________They ended up needing to recruit Kevin. The trio explained the issue to him and were surprised when he said he already knew.
"Avi's had been acting weird that morning so I asked him what was up, but he it was nothing." Kevin explained, "Then when I was heading back from the gym, I saw the photos and decided that if Avi wanted to tell me about it he would." He gave a resigned shrug. He seemed upset that Avi wouldn't talk to him. Why was Avi pushing everyone away?
"So, he hasn't mentioned me at all?" Mitch's voice was coated with irritation.
Kevin looked apologetic."No, I'm sorry."
"It's fine.." Mitch lied. He put on a fake smile and announced, "We actually came here because I need your help."
"I have a plan!" Kirstie interjected proudly.
Kevin smiled mischievously at the trio.
"What do you need me to do?"

A couple days later, it was time to set the plan into action. PTX was in San Diego for a show. The crew was setting up, while the band members weren't assigned anything to do for a while.
Mitch sat in the empty dressing room, staring at the door. His anxiety filled him to the brim. He felt a chill in the air as he tried to warm himself up. His leg bounced as he awaited Avi's arrival. The plan was about to begin.
Kevin's job was to text Avi, saying to meet him in the dressing room and that it was important.
Scott's job was to keep all of the crew distracted so that they wouldn't have to worry about any interruptions.
Kirstie's job was to hang out in the hallway to make sure that once Avi was there, he wouldn't try to leave. Mitch thought that was kind of silly, but she insisted.
And Mitch's job.
Well, his job was to not fuck up.He tried to plan out what he would say to Avi. But this only garbled his head up even more. He hated getting into this overthinking mindset. He was trying to calm himself down when the door creaked open.
"Hey Kev, what's going on.." Avi trailed off once he saw who was there. He gulped and looked nervously around the room.
Mitch stood up."Hi, Avi." The tenor's voice small while walking towards the man.
"Oh, I thought Kevin would be in here..." Avi stated, looking uncomfortable. "But since he's not I'll just, um, go." He made an awkward gesture towards the door.
