"We made it," Kaycee chuckled, sitting next to Maddy who had gotten an extra baby seat for Adeline.

"Someone spend too much time on their hair?" Maddy joked but ultimately looked at Ryan.

"Haha," Ryan Chuckled, knowing the dig was on him.

"You need a haircut,"

"I could say the same for you," he chuckled.

"You guys are so married," Sadie laughed, loving the back-and-forth between Ryan and Maddy. "Just like mom and dad,"

"It's a good thing," Kaycee chuckled.

"I know," Sadie shrugged before looking over the menu. "What's good here?"

"Anything," Ryan nodded, also looking over his menu.

"I can get whatever I want?" Sadie asked, looking at Chase and Kaycee for an answer.

"Whatever you want," Chase nodded.

Sadie just grinned and looked over her menu as Chase and Kaycee shared a look.

After they ordered, the conversation turned to Sadie.

"So we heard some big news was happening?" Maddy asked, looking at the teen at the table.

"Yeah," she nodded, beaming from ear to ear.

"That's awesome kiddo,"

"I'm really excited," Sadie grinned, looking at Kaycee.

"We're excited too honey," Kaycee smiled, pulling her into a side hug as she was sitting next to her.

"Do you guys have a date yet?" Ryan asked, sitting Kollyn on his lap while she gnawed on his finger.

"Not yet. Still waiting to hear back," Kaycee shook her head. "Once we hear, we'll let you guys know so you can be there,"

"I want you guys there too," Sadie nodded.

"We'll be there," Maddy nodded, "We're really happy for you Sadie,"

"Thank you,"

"Have you heard about volleyball yet?" She asked, keeping the subject on Sadie but slightly moving on.

"I don't think I'll be playing the rest of this season but I can probably run after physical therapy for the spring,"

"Well, that'll be good. You'll be able to play next season. Maybe you'll make setter like you've been wanting," Maddy smiled, winking at the teen across from her.

"I'm gonna be working with Mom all summer,"

"I bet you are,"

"What about track? Who coaches that?" Sadie asked.

"Ryan's one of them. And then it's Franklin, and I think Bennett," Maddy said as she looked at Ryan for an answer.

"Yep. Bennett deals with the field part, Franklin does the sprints. I do more of the longer runs and relays," Ryan explained and Sadie was pretty happy to hear it.

"I like the longer runs so that works for me," she nodded, "I didn't run last year. I had to beg Tammy to let me play volleyball this year,"

"Well now you don't have to worry about that," Chase smiled, getting a huge smile back from Sadie.

After dinner, the Elliott's headed home, and Sadie showered while Kaycee gave Adeline a bath in the other bathroom.

Chase cleaned up the kitchen and living room before they all met up again and had ice cream with a show on.

Sadie loved these moments with them. They always seemed to end up in the same room at the end of the day and spending time together.

"I really love this," Sadie said, not realizing she said it out loud until Chase and Kaycee looked at her.

"What?"

"I love this," she grinned, looking at both of her parents. "We always seem to end up in the living room together at night. Eating snacks and watching TV. I was always alone at home. Tammy didn't spend time with me,"

"Well she's a thing of the past and now you have us. And we love spending time with you,"

Once everyone was in bed, Chase and Kaycee were upstairs figuring out the process to adopt Sadie, since it was really the only time they had.

"So what do we have to do?" Chase asked, looking at Kaycee who was on the laptop, looking up everything they needed to do.

"We have to have her permission which we do and we just have to file for custody and then go to court," she answered, looking at everything before she printed all of the paperwork.

"So we basically have everything. We just have to go to court," Chase shrugged, sitting on the bed after throwing all of the pillows off that Kaycee insisted on having.

"Basically. We have to file first obviously but I don't see why we wouldn't be able to adopt her," she nodded, closing her laptop before putting it on her nightstand.

"Well, I'm glad we at least have that,"

"You and me both," she smiled as both of them laid down in their bed.

"I'm glad you convinced me," he smiled a little, "I didn't want to at first but I'm glad we did. She's made our family whole,"

"She has and I wouldn't have it any other way,"
