"alrighty kids, bring this form to your parents and make sure to get their signature!"
satoru handed out the forms with suguru helping out. y/n watched the delighted expressions on the children's faces as they placed the form into their bag gleefully.

it was going to be their long-awaited trip to the zoo.

megumi held the consent form in his hands. his eyebrows furrowed. y/n gave a worried glance at the boy. megumi looked as though he wanted to murder the paper with his eyes.

scooting closer to the boy, y/n squatted down. 

"what's the problem gumi?"

"dad probably won't come."

his eyes made contact with y/n's. with a saddened expression hidden, y/n ruffled the boy's hair gently.

"it's alright gumi, i'll be by your side."
megumi nodded his head and shuffled closer to y/n to get a hug from her.

it had been two weeks since the dinner at the fushiguro estate. y/n made it a routine to wake up early to open the daycare for megumi. she was willing to sacrifice her sleep for megumi. there was no way that she would let a child wander outside at the crack of dawn.

her relationship with megumi and the children had blossomed into a loving one. her favourite child is megumi with itadori being a close second. the black-haired boy would cuddle up to her and not leave her side whenever he got the chance to. they were inseparable.

everyday without fail, y/n would read his favourite storybook before his nap time. megumi could feel the warmth and tenderness from y/n and he enjoyed it wholeheartedly.

knowing that the kid didn't have a mother, y/n tried her best to show and give megumi her love. which was easy since megumi was such an adorable and lovable boy.

toji and y/n hadn't conversed since the dinner. the man only greeted her and vice versa when they met in the morning. y/n couldn't decipher what toji was thinking and hence avoided conversations with him.

"what animals are you most excited to see?"
y/n changed the topic and held megumi in her arms. the boy sat on her as y/n crossed her legs. nobara and itadori curiously looked over to them too.

the brunette child sneaked up on the pair from behind before attacking y/n with her tiny hands.

"n-nobara!"
y/n gasped as nobara tickled her teacher. a mischievous grin on her face. itadori followed stead and squeezed himself beside megumi who grunted with an annoyed expression.

"sensei! i want to see the giraffes!!"

"BLEH GIRAFFES ARE SO UNCOOL LIKE YOUUU!!"

"kugisaki you're so meannnn."
itadori pouted and held onto y/n's arm. y/n had become a whole playground for the youngest children. it was a common sight in the daycare for y/n to get trampled by the kids.

itadori leaned onto y/n's torso. his head landed on her left boob. the boy didn't know what he was doing was quite inappropriate. y/n didn't really bother since he was just a mere child.

"sensei, it's really squishy."

"..."

itadori stared at his teacher who had a baffled expression. megumi instantly slapped itadori's head. nobara was done with her tickle attack and decided to crawl up y/n's back.

"idiot! you shouldn't say that!"
megumi whacked itadori's head again. the boy grimaced and rubbed his head.

"owww fushiguro why did you do that..."
