19 | the twins

the following day, toji went to the gym takuma ino worked in. y/n was true to her words and helped toji out. the scenery was foreign to toji but he was open to it. ino interviewed him the first thing that surprised him was just how well-built toji was. multiple woman were ogling at him, men completely mesmerised at how defined toji's muscles was. toji's body was what the gym bros wished for and they could only imagine what training regime toji had.  

the day went smoothly for toji. him putting megumi in the daycare with ease and learning more about the job scope of being a personal trainer. it was a rather good day for toji. 

for y/n, it was a disaster at the daycare. there was a flu-fever situation ongoing in the daycare. it started with a simple sneeze from one of the itadori twins-- yuuji. the boy brushed it off when satoru had asked if he was feeling unwell. a couple of moments later, toge let out a sneeze.

suguru being the responsible adult he was, contacted their parents to bring them home. it was only one hour in and suguru could only hope that it didn't spread to the other kids. yuta was absolutely unhappy at toge going home and made a huge fuss. 

wailing and flinging his arms around, it took the teachers a whole entire hour to calm the boy down. sukuna on the other hand was ecstatic that his brother was out of his hair. the pink-haired boy continued to terrorise the other kids in the daycare without a care of the world. holding a kid frying pan in his hand, he ran around the kid kitchen area, stepping on the little 'food' miwa had prepared. 

megumi who was a little afraid of sukuna scaring the other kids, found himself a nice blue beanbag to read his storybooks. to be frank, the 3-year-old boy couldn't really read that well but tried his best to distract himself. 

utter chaos erupted in the daycare as y/n tried to calm sukuna down, satour couldn't be bothered and instead showered his time and love on megumi who was annoyed at satoru. without yuuji in the daycare, the rays of the ball of sunshine were gone as sukuna continued to chase down todo. 

"come to think of it, sukuna and yuuji are complete opposites." 
y/n voiced out her thoughts. suguru who was beside her, trying to calm his kid, nanako down, nodded in agreement. 

"they're twins but yuuji is always smiling and cheerful." 
suguru added, pressing a small kiss on nanako's forehead. the poor kid was terrified by sukuna. 

"while sukuna is always terrorising the other kids." 
y/n sweatdropped. she sighed, giving up her chase with sukuna. allowing the boy to do what he wanted, y/n went to megumi whose eyes brightened. 

"mamaaaaaa tell gojo sensei to go away." 
megumi pouted. his saviour was finally here! satoru then pinched megumi's cheeks with a huff. satoru was informed about the latest tea about y/n and toji. he was thrilled that y/n was finally opening up to others after the five gruelling months. 

"no fair megumi-chan. you hurt my feelings." 
a fake frown settled on satoru's face as he pulled megumi's cute cheeks childishly. 

"bleh. mama is better." 
pushing away satoru's hands, megumi got out of the beanbag and raised his hands up. signalling y/n to pick him up, y/n ruffled his dark hair upon carrying him. 

"TODO PLEASE WEAR YOUR PANTS!" 
utahime was tongue-tied at the pantsless boy who let out a hearty laughter. 

"EWWWWWWW." 
the zenin twins gave todo disgusted looks. they then continued to gossip with each other about some zenin family drama. 

hours finally passed and it was time to say goodbye to the kids. thankfully, their parents were on time. right before their parents' arrival, it was nap time for the kids. sukuna who was used to his twin being by his bedside, felt coldness. the empty matress made him alarmed.
