Melody's POV

There he was, the love of my life standing in front of me on one knee. His angelic eyes looking into mine, as if he'd seen god himself. His light tented lips moved in slow motion as he asked me the most unexpected question, "would you marry me?" My heart felt like it stopped. I felt my vision get blurry as I nodded my head multiple times. "Yes, yes, YES!" I repeated as I clung onto him.

Coming back to my senses I slammed the book closed and silently sighed. Oh to be in love. I thought to myself as I softly placed my book in my tote bag.

The library was quiet as I walked out and headed to the apartment. As I locked my bike up, I could feel the stare of someone's eyes burning in the back of my head. I felt some what uneasy. I stopped what I was doing as I whipped my head around, nothing but the end of the hallway, and some stairs that lead to the next floor.

I continued on, walking up the stairs after I was done. Once I was finally in my apartment I was greeted by snowy, my white furry, blue eyed, ragdoll cat. She stared at me.

"Hey snowy!" I said, I moved to hang my sweater up, only for snowy to still stare at me. "What is it girl?" I ask confused. She never dose this. I felt a slim hand grab my waist. I yelped in shock, to only turn around to see my best friend. "Boo!" She giggled. "Don't scare me like that" I said, panting for air as my heartbeat had started to slow down.

"Oh relax! You're such a cry baby" she said. "I'm not a cry baby." I sat down on the stool that stood in front of the island countertop. "I was just shocked"

After a while of catching up she brought up an interesting topic. "Wanna go to a party tonight?" She asked, opening the freezer to pull out the tub of ice cream. "You know I don't like to party." I rejected. She grabbed two spoons, handing the smaller one to me. "Don't be boring, all you're going to do is sit up in your room and stick your nose in that little ol' book." She said. "I don't see anything wrong with that?" I gave her a cheeky smile. "Your 19 mel, come on. Live a little you don't have all your life to party" "fine." I gave in, just to quit hearing her complaints.

She squealed, "be ready by 7!" She said before heading to her room. Me and isa have lived together for 7 months now, it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Pretty fun sometimes.

I headed to my room, it room was always tidy as I couldn't understand how people could live in a mess. Clothes here and there aren't bad, but leaving food for days is not the best.

I had a fancy looking bedroom, more coquette colored. While isa had more of an indie look, with plants and LED lights everywhere.

I pulled back my fluffy sheets as I let my body weight rest on the soft bed. Closing my eyes and drifting into a soft place.
