Chapter 9

One week later Sonic's POV 

Me and Shadow would call and text all the time and sometimes we would hang out together, would always go to the cafe where we talked and tails and Knuckles saw us and I knew it was a bad idea to hang out with him but Shadow made me feel a way that feels so familiar but I don't what it is. As I walked into the cafe I saw Shadow sitting at the table. We always sit at the two-seat table at the window at the far back and as I walk to the table Shadow would see me and stand up then pull out my sit for me. 

"Shadow, you know you don't have to pull out my seat for me," I said as I sat down 

"I know you always tell me, and I will always tell you I want to because I want to see that beautiful smile that I love to see," he said As he said that | blushed and deep red that covered my whole face then stuttered 

"T-thanks Sh.Sh. Shadow"

"Your welcome Sonic," Shadow said with a smirk As we sat there someone yelled, 

"Hey, you two lovebirds!" We turned to see Rouge in a red peacoat with a dark red belt, a red beret, leather gloves, and the normal white and pink heart boots she wears, as she walked to us I said. 

"Nice outfit," 

"Oh thank hun," Rouge said 

"Oh Rouge, we're not lovebirds, "Shadow said blushing as I realized she said that. 

"Ya I know but it makes Sonic blush," 

"Oh, Shadow said As he smirked I looked out of the window still blushing hard and as did I saw tails and Amy walking over to the cafe before they came in I went under the table

Shadow POV

Then Sonic went under the table I was confused so was Rouge but then Pink Brat and Fox Boy came in so I see now, as the two sit down at a table Sonic crawls away from the table to the door I got up and walked to the door to and opened it for Sonic and when we got outside sonic got up and dusted himself off. But before we walked off I saw that brat looking out the window and saw us so she told Fox Boy they got out of their seats and started to run to the door but Rouge stopped them so I grabbed Sonic's hand and Chaos controlled us to the park under the big oak tree.

Rouge POV

As Tails and Amy ran to the door I quickly got in front of them and started talking.

"Hi Tails and Amy, how are you?"

"Rouge not know," Amy said

"What do you mean?"I asked

"Rouge get out of the way," Tails said,

"Why?"I asked

But Tails didn't say anything and just pushed me and got outside but Sonic and Shadow were alrighty gone.

"So why did you want to get outside?"I asked

"But I saw he out here," Amy said

Tails looked and the floor then at me with a furious face.

"Rouge, where is he?!" he yelled

"I don't know what you mean?"I questioned,

"WHERE IS SONIC!!!"Tails yelled

People were looking at him.

"I don't know I just want to say hi ok," I said a little mad

"I'm sorry for yelling at you Rouge," he said
