Where Have You Gone

Chapter 1️⃣

"Uh..I forgot your name..!!" Heng, who looked like a man in his mid forty asked as he rubbed his forehead.

"Rebecca, you can call me Becky!" she replied to him. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

"Yeah.. correct correct.. Becky..!! I remember now..!! haha.."

"Hmm..!!  Great..!!" She replied.

"It's been a long time"

"No sir... It will be ten minutes... That's it..!"

"It's okay, just call me Heng. No formalities, please. Hmm.. what would you like to have coffee or tea..??" He asked formally,

"No Heng, I'm good..!!" Becky refused with a smile.

"It's like you've been wandering around in the sun, please drink some water..!" He moved the water bottle to Becky's side.

"It's okay.. let it be..!" Becky said without even touching it.

"OK then, tell me, Becky. Irin said about you very high, I also said 'okay let me see you in person", There was indifference in his speech.

"Thank you very much Heng for spending your valuable time for me!" Becky said with genuine gratitude.

"Tell me a little bit about yourself..!" Heng said as he sat straight.

As he asked, Becky placed the file in her hand on the table. She pulled the zip opened the file and took out a pen drive. Placing it in front of the person opposite, she moved it to the side. Heng asked, looking a bit confused now, without taking his eyes off the pen drive.

"What is this..??"

"My resume, All my ad films, short films, and documentaries are in this. I have copied everything here. If you see this, you will get an idea about me!" Becky said with a professional attitude.

"Haha. I don't have time for this Becky. Tell me a little about yourself!! What are you doing.??"

Becky didn't expect Heng to ask that. She stumbled a bit. She took a silent look at the laptop beside him. 
"No time..?? Then why is all this here..??" She thought to herself.

Heng rested one hand on the handle of the chair where he was sitting. Rubbing his forearm with his other hand, he tilted his head to one side and stared at him with gaping teeth. Becky started to speak now.

"Ah. I don't have much to say about me. I grew up and studied in England and Thailand. I graduated from the Thai University in Visual Communication. I was very interested in the ad film industry while studying in college. After completing my degree I joined the Bangkok Film School and I took a six-month course and training about ad filmmaking. Then I started an advertising company along with a few friends who studied with me, and we are running it now. Irin is also one of the partners!”

"Hmm... She told me that !! Where is your office ?" Heng asked

"Nearby only, opposite to AI tech center"

"Oh. So isn't it very close?..?"

"Yes," Becky answered awkwardly.

"Hmm.. what kind of advertisement do you do..??"

"Mostly TV Commercials. Recently we have started concentrating on Internet Advertising as well."

"How is everything? direct dealing ?" He asked and looked at Becky sharply, now Becky squirmed slightly.

"Eh..No, We have a tie-up with another advertising company. We will take the project from them. We usually do use our team for their production"

"Say it like that..!! Hmmm.. Great! Well, you have learned the techniques to survive in the field!! How long has it been since you started the business..??" Heng couldn't contain his excitement. He wondered how Becky could do this at a very young age.
