"Because I forgot to tell you!"

I know my reason isn't reasonable enough but maybe that'll fly.

"O...k? What about the other day we talked?" He said and it's making me nervous. "You mentioned a partner, why did you not tell me then?" 

"I forgot that I'd forgotten to tell you." I said with my most positive energy.

He sighed. "Well, that explains everything, then." He said with a sweet smile. "You can be a ditz sometimes sis."

"Sorry..." I said cutely.

Loid then came with some snacks on a plate putting on the table. "Sorry for the wait."

"Thank you!" Yuri then take one and he almost finish all of them. "Aw, Yuri must have loved your baking." I said a sweet smile.

After I stated that, there's an awkward moment of silence until he broke it.

"So, how did you two meet?"

"Oh. Um, at, you know... the place where... uh..." I really don't know what to tell her.

"At the boutique on the third street."

"Yeah! I was like, Oh my! A hot stranger is staring at me!" I said with a little laugh. 

"I mean, I can't help but be mesmerized by her beauty." He defended. "Then, we had lunch together and we hit it off." He added.

"Lunch? Where? When? I want the names of the restaurant." He said in a cold face as if he's interrogating him, even though I know for a fact he is. "How many trysts are there? Who proposed?"

"Um..."

This kid just don't know how to shut up, can he? I thought. 

"What do you call each other?"

Gosh, he's starting to get into my nerves. Seriously!

"Huh? Well, just Yor." He said. "Or sometimes-" 

Loid was cut off by Yuri. "D-D-D-Don't tell me you call him Loi-Loi or Lottie?" 

"Huh? What?" 

Did he just say Lottie? Hm, that's actually a nice nickname. I thought then secretly giggled. 

He grab the wine he brought and pours himself. "Whaaaaaaa! Damn you, Lottie!"  He said then drinks his wine.

"I just call him Loid like normal people do!" I said but I have to consider Lottie. 

Loid looks so calm but I am too embarrassed with him. "Want some water?" He offered him but he just keeps on drinking.

"Damn it all!"

Shit! The Briar family has an alcohol problem, URGH!

Good thing Loid managed to calm him down a little. We had some little chats until I...

"Don't you think you have such a nice brother-in-law?" I told him.

He stood up. "I told you, I do not approve him as your husband." If the police men and the people who were assign to him are going to get scared or run off, I am not. He's my brother so I know him better than anyone else. "He is no brother of mine."

That's it, I have enough. 

"Yuri, don't be rude to my husband." I guess I have to act like a defensive wife now.

"You're right, Loid Forger. I have a great job to pay such an expensive bottle of wine." He said. "That is all thanks to my sister. She raised me all her own."
