The beginning of new life

Two days... two days straight I have been raped by Mr. Darwin. Two days I have been suffering. And two days my brother whines to let him come with me.

"Yuri, that lady said she only want one girl, and she just chose me."

"But, did we not promise to each other that-"

"I know, but you have to understand and respect someone's decision." I said then walks towards her. "I promise, I will get you out of here."

"I will wait for you, nee-san."

"Thank you."

"Yor-chan, your future is a waiting for you." Mr. Darwin said leaning against the door.

God, every time I see him, I feel disgusts.

I gave him my bag and leads the way. My brother and I walking clingingly. 

"This is it, Yuri." I said but he's still not letting go. "Yuri, I have to go."

"No! No, I don't want you go, Nee-san!"

I know for a fact that he's already crying  and that made my tears fall out of nowhere. I signaled Mr. Darwin to give them my bag and squat to level my height with my brother. 

"Yuri, look at me.: I said making him look at me. "I will be back for you, I promise."

"Nee-san..."

I smiled at him and hug him tight. "Be a good boy, ok?"

"Nee-san..."

I broke the hug trying my best not to let my tears fall but it's impossible. "Happy birthday, Yuri. And goodbye." I said letting him go making him gone wild calling me.

"Nee-san! Nee-san! Nee-san! Nee-san! Nee-san!" He is so loud that I can still hear him in the car.

I look away from him and just let my tears fall. I sob and sob as I feel the distance between us. I wish it was this easy, but it wasn't. 

Suddenly, someone offered me a bottle of water, and when I look at the person, it was that lady.

I took her offer and drank it.

"Hey, slow down." She said then I got choked. "Here." She offered me a tissue.

"Tha-Thank you."

"Yor, I know it's hard for you to be away to your brother, but please consider this bug opportunity." I didn't dare to reply. "Yor, I know how it feels... to lose and to be away to the people you love the most."

I remained quiet the whole ride. I don't want to talk to her nor talk about my feelings. Good thing, she respects my boundaries. 

I wanted to ask her something, but I can't find my voice again. It's like I can't move my mouth and say a single word. I sniff and drink the bottle of water she gave me. 

She doesn't look like she's stressed or bothered, she look like she's texting someone. Maybe to their house?

If you look at her, she has this, somewhat, vibe that she's dangerous at the same time she's not.

I'd be rude if I just tell or ask her what she do for the living but then again...

"Do you..." I started then she hums looking up to me. "...think he hates me now?"

She frown a little. "Who?"

"My brother." I replied. "Do you think my brother hates me now?" I added.

"No, and why would he hate you?"

"Because today is his birthday and I left him."

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know."
