Chapter 3 Derry's Unsolved Mysteries

Beverly and Eleanor are currently cycling to the lake as the blonde promised her best friend yesterday.

After approaching the quarry, they see Richie, Stan, Bill, Ben, and Eddie standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking the river in their undergarments.

"Who's first?" They hear Bill saying to others.

"That was terrible." Ben says as they look down at the water between five to ten feet below.

"I'll go." Beverly volunteers and the five boys turn around at the sound of her voice as she lets her bike fall on its side, and undresses, revealing a white bikini and light blue underwear. "Sissies." She runs right for the edge of the cliff, past the boys, and gracefully jumps off.

"What the fuck?!" Richie curses before they all watch the redhead landing into the water. "Aw, holy shit! We just got showed up by a girl!"

"Do we have to do that now?" Stanley asks as Eleanor walks to the boys, letting her bike fall to the floor and look down to see Beverly in the water.

"Yes." Eddie replies.

"Come on!" Beverly yells.

"Oh, shit." Stanley curses this time as Ben waves at Beverly.

"Yeah." Eleanor states and Bill smiles.

Ben jumps into the water after the redhead. "Whoo!"

Then Eddie, Richie and Stanley jump one after the other, leaving the blonde and Bill.

"Ar-ar-aren't you gonna ju-ju-jump?" He asks her.

"Ah. I don't think so."

"Wh-wh-why?"

"Let's say, I'm not brave like Beverly." Eleanor shrugs.

"That's not the tru-truth." Bill shakes his head. "Y-y-you st-st-stood against Henry Bowers that da-da-day to he-help us."

"Henry retreated because of his father." Eleanor points out.

"B-b-but you tried. Di-di-didn't you?" Bill questions and she shrugs once again. "J-jump wi-wi-with me?"

"Okay?" Eleanor sighs, giving up finally. Shyly, the blonde undresses her clothes, revealing her light blue bikini and underwear. She blushes even more as she notices Bill watching her.

"R-ready?" He asks, holding her right hand.

"I can't believe that I'm saying this, but yes." She tells before they descend toward the water, and hit the water together with a perfect entry as others watch them.

Eddie rolls his eyes. "Too dramatic."

Seconds later, the seven of them start having fun splashing each other and just talking. Stan, then Ben, rises from the water, holding Richie on his shoulders, while Bill holds Beverly on his shoulders. Richie and Beverly then try to see who can push the other off.

"I already won! We already won!" Richie exclaims.

Off to the side, Eddie dunks Stan in the water; Richie and Beverly grapple with each other, with Richie pushing Beverly backwards; she falls off Bill's back, into the water, with a yelp.

"They're down! Yes!" Richie raises his arms victoriously.

Seeing the blonde away from the gang, Eddie splashes water at her and Eleanor gasps as the water hits her. Everyone's laughter fills the environment, until the blonde wipes the water off her eyes and turns to Eddie once again.
