Chapter 16 Future Vows

━━━━━━━━☆★☆━━━━━━━━

Maybe there are no good or bad friends. Just friends. The people who are by your side when you suffer. There are no good or bad friends. Only the people you want to be with. And I never knew that I'll get attach to a group of looser too much.

The time moves faster and faster until, September sun decides to shine to Derry.

According to Bill's plan for the official last day of the losers club, they unite on the river bank sitting together in a circle.

"I can only remember parts, but, I thought I was dead. That's what it felt like." Beverly says as Ben and Stan gaze at her. "I saw us, all of us together back in the cistern, but we were older, like, our parents' ages."

"What were we all doing there?" Bill questions.

"I just remember how we felt. How scared we were. I don't think I can ever forget that." Beverly replies.

"Was I still so handsome as an adult?" Richie asks with him mischievous grin.

"You had your grace." Beverly answers him.

"What does that mean?" Richie makes an questionable look.

"What about me?" Stanley asks curiously.

"You looked the same, only taller." Beverly smiles and Stanley smiles, satisfied at the response.

"What about me?" Eleanor asks, putting an arm around Beverly's shoulder.

"You looked the same as well, but more mature and beautier." The redhead pinches her cheek, playfully and the blonde pouts, resulting everyone to smile.

Looking at a shard of glass, Bill stands up and bends down to pick it up. "Swear it. Swear if It isn't dead, if It ever comes back, we'll come back, too."

Mike, Ben, Stanley, Richie, Eddie, Beverly and Eleanor ponder this, and stand up one by one as Bill holds out his left hand and makes an incision in it using the piece of glass.

He then approaches Richie and cuts into his left hand. He cringes from the pain and shakes his hand as Bill does the same thing with Eddie, who looks away.

Bill then goes over to Mike, who groans as Bill cuts into his skin. Stanley closes his eyes and grits his teeth in pain as Bill makes an incision in his hand.

Ben lets out a quick grunt in pain as Bill does a quick incision with his hand. As the other boys clutch their bleeding hands, Bill makes a deep incision in her hand. Beverly winces slightly, but other than that, she acts as if she doesn't feel a thing. Then finally, he comes over to Eleanor.

"We could do this in an easier way than this." She comments, holding my hand out, making others snicker.

Bill makes an incision in it using the piece of glass as she clutches Bill's free arm, as waves of sharp pain get control on her cut. The boy with auburn hair steps away, in between Richie and the blonde, and holds out his right hand; Eleanor places her left hand in it. Beverly takes her right hand. Ben takes Beverly's right hand, then extends his right hand to Stanley, who takes it with his left hand then takes Mike's left hand with his right, Mike holds hands with Eddie, who cringes, then takes Richie's left hand, and finally, Richie takes Bill's hand.

The eight of them hold hands for a few seconds, then let go simultaneously.

"I gotta go." Stanley says to Bill. "I hate you."

Bill feels a little bit stung by these words, then Stanley smiles to indicate that he was just joking. Ben grins at him as Eddie, Richie, Beverly, Bill and I laugh. Stanley then turns to the blonde.
