Chapter 19 Stanley

━━━━━━━━☆★☆━━━━━━━━

"That's what Pennywise's does right? He fucks with us. So Stanley is probably fine." Eddie says as they make their way out of the restaurant.

"Hey Mike, do you have Stan's number?" Beverly asks, taking her phone out of her bag.

"Yeah."

"Hey, Richie!" A voice calls behind them, making them stop and turn to see a small kid.

"How do you? How do you know my name?" Richie archer his eyebrow.

"The fun has just begun, right?" The kid grins as they all stare at him with wide eyes.

"What did he say?" Eddie panics.

Richie frowns. "Do you think this is funny? Think this is some sort of a game, huh?"

"Be careful, Rich."

Richie grabs the kid's jacket collar from one hand as pointing at him on the other. "Well, fuck you! Alright? Fuck you! I'm not afraid of you!"

The boy gulps. "The fun has just begun. The line from your act, dude. I'm a fan."

"Are they your parents?" Richie asks, pointing behind with realisation and the kid nods still looking frightened. An apology smile forms on Richie's face. "You want a picture?"

"Are you okay, Dean?" The mother of the kid Dean asks as she approaches the group with her husband.

"I think I'm good." The boy says joining to his parents.

"Okay. Cool. He's a good kid."

"Jesus, Richie. Don't you remember a line from your own shows?" Ben asks as they begin to walk again.

"I do not write my material."

"I fucking knew it! I fucking knew it!" Eddie grins, following behind.

"Hello, Mrs. Uris. My name is Beverly Marsh. I'm apologising for calling, but I'm an old friend of your husband." Beverly talks to her phone which is currently speaker on from outside the restaurant.

"You lied to us. This is not OK." Eddie complains at Mike.

Richie nods in agreement. "Yeah. The first words out of your mouth should been like, Hey man. You want to come to Derry and get murdered? Cause then I would have said no."

"Guys." Ben tries to keep Richie and Eddie who are panicking and rambling.

"Oh..." Mrs. Uris's voice from the other line cracks as she whimpers. "He passed."

"Stan." Eleanor's heart aches in pain at her words as a sob escapes her lips and Bill pulls her into a hug as she cries her eyes out into his chest.

"When did this happen?"

"Yesterday. It was horrible the way he died. He cut his veins in the bathtub. Sorry, I have to go."

"We're all very sorry, Patty." Beverly apologies and Mrs. Uris mumbles a 'thank you' before hanging up.

"Stanley." Eddie states as Beverly takes out a cigarette and lights it. "Pennywise knew. He knew before we did."

"We have to stop it. I have a plan." Mike tells.

"I got a plan. Getting the fuck out of this dodge before this ends worse than one of Bill's book. Who's with me?" Richie remarks, holding up his hands as Eddie joins him.

"We made a promise to each other."

"Let's unmake the promise."

"Richie, other people are gonna die." Ben recalls as Eleanor pulls away from the hug, wiping her the tears, but still whimpering and Bill comforts me, gently rubbing on her shoulder.

"Other people die every day, man. We don't own this town shit! Plus, I just remembered I grew up here, like two hours ago! So, I'm fucking leaving. Fuck this."

"I'm sorry, man. I'm with Richie." Eddie says as he walks to his car as Richie.

"Ed's, please." Mike speaks.

"What? We stay, we die. That's it? I'm gonna go back to the inn, I'm gonna pack my shit, and I'm gonna drive to my home. I'm sorry, man. Goodluck."

"No, Eddie. Please. Please. Please, Eddie!"

Richie and Eddie both drive off to the inn to go and pack their stuff.

"You should have told us, Mikey." Ben says to Mike and turn around to face Beverly. "I'm going to the inn. You coming?"

"Yeah." Beverly nods as both of them walks to Ben's car.

"I'm begging you. Please listen to me, man. Please."

After they leave, Mike turns to Bill and the blonde.

"El. Bill. Let me show you something."

"No, Mike. There's nothing to listen. I'm leaving. I don't wanna go through that again. I'm so sorry." Eleanor tells Mike and turns to Bill. "I'll wait for you at the inn."

Unlocking her car and getting in, Eleanor drives off in between Mike's desperate shouting for her to stop.

Once Eleanor arrives at the inn and parks her car in the parking lot, she turns on the radio and rests on my seat, closing her eyes. But her rest does not last longer than five minutes.

News broke out that the supermodel Eleanor Holden and her multi-millionaire fiancé, Dylan Cowell have officially split out from their sparked relationship.

Eleanor snaps her eyes open and frowns.

However rumours says that Holden has been seen in a restaurant of Derry with the famous screenwriter, William Denbrough few hours ago. It looks like she already has recover from her breakup with her previous lover-

She turns off the radio not wanting to hear more. Why are these people getting into her private life like this? Besides, she was with her gang, not just Bill. Dylan will be pissed if he hears and he'll think that she split up with him because of Bill. But that's not totally a lie though. Shit.

She groans at the thought and gets out of her car and locks it, before walking into the inn.

First person she sees is Richie holding his bags, looking at the stairs. "Eduardo, come on, let's go!" He then turns to her. "Hey, blonde. Did you leave your stuff here?"

"Nope. They're still in my car." She replies.

"You're not telling us something. You knew how Stanley died!" Ben yells at Beverly.

Richie and Eleanor look at each other with the same shocked eyes as they follow to the mini bar to find Ben and Beverly.

"Wait. Did we hear right?" Richie asks them.

"I can not do this." Beverly says, trying to walk out of the room, but Ben blocks her.

"Did she know how Stanley would die?" Richie repeats his previous unanswered question clearly.

"Listen well? You cannot ignore it. How did you know where he killed himself? Bev? Tell me. Let's talk as we used to. How did you know?" Ben asks Beverly who is pacing in the room, stressed.

"Because I saw it." Beverly stops at her track with tear filled eyes. "I've seen all of us die."

"Okay, I just got too grab my toiletry bag and we can go." Eddie appears with two black suitcases and stops as he sees their shocked faces. "What did I miss?"
