Chapter 14

Hyunjin's pov
"baby are you sure of this?" My dear stepmother asked my father, if I was going to live the life of this hyunjin...i need to get used to this family...the universe has given me a second chance to be happy...adding to the fact that the hwangs are a hell of rich...my whole life I struggled with money...but now it is going to change...once and for all.
"I am " my dad said leaning into his chair.
"he is still sick..."

"the doctor said that he is doing fine, we can't do anything to give him his memory back at least work is going to do him good" my dad cut her off staring at me" you are ready to work right hyunjin" he added.
I have no idea how to lead a freaking company...i mean i am not stupid of course... I loved literature...i have always been interested in arts so most of the books I read were in that field, during the years I spent wandering Europe I met with a lot of scientists in different domains...but mostly in medicine , physics those ones were interested in time travel and other creatures...they wanted to become immortal or whatever....they were crazy...or that's what I thought until I got here and found out that vampires and other words exists...speaking of vampires.... I didn't see that man in two days now...

"hyunjin" I was pulled out of my thoughts when my dad yelled.
"oh what?" I asked glancing between the two who were staring at me weirdly.
"I said are you ready to join the company? If you are not..."
"no I am fine...i want to do it" I cut the man off, I can see his wife throwing daggers my way...i am not going to let her and her daughter steal Hyunjin's birth rights...which are mine now.
"I am not sure..."
"yeji is going to be with me right" I cut the woman off as my dad nodded" and so will you...i think I better join you....i am getting bored at home anyways"I added.

"That's great...you can start whenever you are ready" my father said with a wide smile.
"I will start tomorrow then" I replied, I tried hard to hide the smirk on my lips after I saw the shocked look my stepmom gave me...this is going to be fun." father I wanted to ask you about something...since I came back I did not leave the house...so I wanted to..."
"no, you are not leaving again" he cut me off looking pale.
"father..."
"no hyunjin...last time you left you did not come back...and I thought I lost you" he cut me off again.
"that was in the past....i am going to start working soon anyways...and I just want to go out a bit...i feel so suffocated here" I tried to reason with him...i did not time travel to get stuck in this house.

"it is dangerous" my dad said getting up from his chair.
"so you don't trust me..."
"I did that once and I lost you hyunjin" he yelled taking me off guard.
"what if I take someone with me?" I asked making him frown.
"you escaped the guards before...you will do it again...and where the hell do you want to go?" he asked scanning me...anywhere but this house...
"to wooyoung and san...they invited me to their studio"I half lied...well they did that so it was the first thing that came into my head...i don't even know what kind of studio they have.
"jung and choi's sons" he said nodding his head" fine...but I am sending the driver with you and two guards...and I swear hyunjin if you try to escape again...i will never let out of the house even for work...you will have to work from your room...did I make myself clear"he added pointing his finger at me.

"crystal...thank you you are the best...i will go get ready" I said running out of the room excitedly.
I changed my clothes before I ran outside to find my father already talked to two men and a woman...the driver and guards I guess.
"you promised hyunjin" dad said still looking worried.
"I did...i will be fine...i swear" I said entering the car as the driver opened the door for me...well the past few days I wandered around the house trying to understand the new inventions of this era...I found out about the name of the square they use to communicate...they call it the phone...I figure out how to open the door of a car...and a couple of other things...Like I swear this shit is so complicated...it is like they are bewitched devices.
