Chapter 17

Chan's pov
"I have never asked you...but why did Mr seo seemed angry yesterday?" I asked yeri who was sitting at her desk doing some work.
"you noticed that " she said glancing at me then at the computer screen...Karina is trying to help me learn how to use those types of things...like phones and computers...it is not hard to figure...i am learning fast as she said...that woman helped me a lot...i have no idea how I am going to pay her back...
"yes is he okay?he was dragging a woman with him too" I asked, it is been couple of days since I start working here...and I still did not have the chance to meet hyunjin, as karina said it was going to be hard...but this is the closest I can get to him.

"that woman that is his fiancee...i think she got jealous when she found us laughing" she answered." I am going to tell you a secret....i don't think that changbin wants to be with her" she paused making me frown" I feel like he is being forced by his parents....those two love money...i think they forced him to marry her because of her step father Mr hwang"she added making me gluo when I heard the name.
"does the hwangs come here?" I asked.
"yeah Mr hwang and his niece yeji come from time to time...they have some shares here too" she said nodding her head.
"how about his son?" I asked again.
"his son...i mean the man had been missing for the past few years....he didn't come  here before....maybe he will now if he is going to join his father's company", she said glancing at me" why are you asking though?" she added.

"I am just curious...like I saw him in the news...i felt bad for him...i hope he gets well soon" I replied clearing my throat.
"I see" the woman hummed getting up"it is lunchtime, do you want me to bring you something from the cafeteria or do you want to come with me?" she added glancing at her watch and then me.
"actually I wanted I am going to the nearby restaurant...i am craving some ramen" I said getting up too.
"oh now I am too...but I can't go back since I will have to come fast to finish my work...could you bring me some with you?" she said making me nod.
"thanks chan you are the best" she added
I smiled at the woman before I walked out of the office...she is a good person...i am getting along with her...jinsung doesn't seem to like me for some reason though.

I entered the elevator bowing my head at other employees who were either heading to the cafeteria or out to have lunch.
I walked out of the elevator as soon as it stopped before I made my way outside...i hope the restaurant is not going to be crowded.
"it is lunchtime what did I expect?" I murmured as soon as my eyes fell on the line in front of me...
I took a deep breath patiently waiting for my turn...i think it took me around thirty minutes to finally order.
"two ramen please" I said to the young man.
"here or to take?" he asked.
"to take" I answered before I gave him the money...i am doing pretty well for an old man...i chuckled taking a seat wiring for my order...like I was born in 1550...we are in 2023( the story events take place in 2023 for now )...if humans were able to live long I would have been 473 years old now....

"Mr bangchan" I stood up when I heard my name being called.
"thank you, have a great day" I said to the boy who smiled, I am sure yeri is staring right now.
I shook my head walking out to head back to work.
"oh, I am sorry" a young man said after he crashed into me...thank god I did not drop the food.
"don't worry....are you okay?" I asked checking on him.
"seungmin why were you running?" the both of us glanced back to see a blonde man walking toward us.
"I am excited to eat" seungmin I presume said.
"I have to go have a great day"I said glancing at seungmin then the new man but as soon as I locked eyes with him...i saw him looking at me with a wide mouth...weird.

"sure...i apologize again" seungmin said bowing slightly at me...i smiled at him before I start walking...i can feel the blonde man 's stares even after I left....what is wrong with him?

Han's pov
"that was embarrassing" seungmin murmured, I can feel his stares on me but I was watching the man leave...he is my mate too...what the hell is happening first lee Felix then seungmin, jeongin and now this man....
"hey are you okay?" the younger asked.
"something is not right" i whispered to myself...the gods messed up big time.
"what do you mean?" he asked again.
"what?" i said staring at him" oh, don't worry about it."I added chuckling...he gave me an unsure stare before he shook his head.
"do you know him?" he said as we entered the shop.
"no, not really...i thought he is someone else...don't worry about it" i said giving him a smile"let's order"i added.
