Chapter 48

Jeongin's pov( next day)
I moved around in the bed comfortably i just woke up...i slept in changbin hyung's room last night...well barely because of how loud the two vampires were...I kind of envy the human for not having enhanced hearing...i froze when I felt the new presence inside the room...at first I thought it was one of my mates present in the house...but the smell was not theirs...i gulped when I felt the bed shift.
"I know you are awake jeongin...i can hear your heartbeat" jisung hyung said.

I opened my eyes to be met with the blonde prince who was not lying next to me.
"hey" he murmured biting his lips" I know that you must be angry at me...i wanted to apologize "he added as I stayed silent the whole time...i am not just angry at him...i am a hell of pissed...he ignored me for days now he is here asking for forgiveness...the only problem is that I know I can't stay angry at him.
"say something please" he said looking at me with red teary eyes.
"what do you want me to say'?" I replied scanning his face.
"yell at me...hit me...just do something...please.."
"you treated me like some kind of outcast just because I wanted to be with my mate...you accused me of taking another one of my mates' side when you know very well that we are incapable  of doing that" I said emphasizing on the word mates.

"I was at wrong inie..."
"I am genuinely curious though what were you thinking it is going to happen? Like some of us will just give up in the others...like we will have to take your side or felix's...i am really curious tell me" I cut him off.
"I...i..." he said looking away" I was hoping that the gods will see that felix and I will never work...it hurt me but at least I was hoping to be with you...seungmin and chan.. The three I met with first" I added biting his lips.
"so you gave up since the start on the two vampires and changbin hyung" I said feeling angry by what he just said.
"I did not have a choice jeongin...i would have loved to have all of you...but I knew that felix won't give up on his mates..."

"so you thought the gods will split us between the two of you like some kind of toys" I said getting up from the bed...the nerve of this man" we are your mates han jisung not your property...not yours or felix's"I yelled.
"I know jeongin...please listen to me...i am saying all this to you because I don't want to disappoint you again...i don't want any lies between us...that's what I wanted to happen before...and I swear I regret it the most...i can't lose you....any of you...you are all my mates...i was stupid...i was lost and confused...hell I was angry...i was not even acting like myself...all I thought about was my hatred for felix and how I am going to win you over...it was a competition to me...i needed something to focus on instead the pull I felt toward lee felix" he said making my eyes widen.

"hyung..."
"seungmin and I had a conversation...it is not like I did not know what he told me already...it is not like all of you did not try to open my eyes to the fact that I am making mistakes...but now I can't act anymore...i can't ignore it anymore jeongin" he said as a tear slipped his eyes...hell how I am going to stay angry at him seeing his state...my heart can't...i reached out to dey his cheeks with my thumb" I don't deserve you I know...i don't think the others or you are going to forgive me...i won't blame you if you don't but I wanted you to hear me out"he added.
"come here damn it"I said pulling him into a tight hug...like I said I can't see him like this and stay angry.

"the stubborn prince is finally cracking", the door was opened revealing the three vampires and changbin hyung." took you long enough prince jisung" hyunjin hyung said walking inside...clearly the four of them heard him...i mean except changbin hyung all of them have super hearing...seungmin hyung gave me a quick wink making me smile.
"you gave me hell when I tried to talk to you" minho hyung said glaring playful at han who pulled away from me only to stare at the floor with a sad expression.
"I apologize like I said if you don't want to forgive me then..."
"I know I got angry at you on multiple occasion...i yelled at you too...but only because I wanted you to wake the hell up han jisung...i wanted you to admit that you were at wrong...hearing you finally accept your faults made all my anger go away" hyunjin hyung said looking around the room."and I think I am speaking on behalf of all of us"he added making me nod.
