Sunlight seeped through the curtain, waking me up to the gentle melody of my alarm. With a content sigh, I rose to open the curtains, embracing the morning sun. As a morning person, the sunrise brings me positive vibes.
After enjoying the view, I brushed my teeth, changed into workout clothes, and hit our in-house gym. My brother joined me, and we had a good workout. Following that, I headed back for a refreshing bath. Putting on a black and white business suit, watch, and a spritz of my favourite cologne, I geared up for the day.
Making my way to the dining hall, I spotted the person I cherished the most. She sat at the table, and upon seeing me, a radiant smile lit up her beautiful face. I approached her and without wasting a second I lifted her in my arms, and we shared a joyful spin. Her giggles filled the room, making me immensely happy.
She planted a loving kiss on me, and I happily returned the affection. Now, you might be curious about this special person - let me introduce you to the love of my life: my niece, Vedika.
Vedika has a magical way of making me smile and warming my heart. Since her birth, she has been a source of joy for our entire family, especially for me. At the dining table, I sat with Vedika in my arms, and soon Dad and Bhai joined us. Bhabhi brought breakfast, and we all gathered to eat, with Vedika insisting on being fed by no one but me.
While I was feeding her carrot she scrunched her nose and said "Na na na... No thiss", she shook her head looking at the vegetable in my hand.
"Vedika don't do drama and eat it", Bhai glared at her trying to scare her and she pouted at him and again said, "Na na na...No thiss", pointing at the veggie.
After a bit of persuasion from me, she ate the veggie, while Bhabhi cleared her throat to say something and we all looked at her.
"It's Vedika's birthday in 20 days, what are we going to do this time?", she asked all of us.
"We should celebrate her birthday like last time but with some unique twists this time around", Bhai suggested.
"Shivansh would you like to plan her birthday just like the last time?", Bhabhi asked me.
"Yes, of course!! I would love to do that why are you even asking, just tell me if you have something in your mind and I'll do the rest", I assured them and Bhabhi smiled at me gratefully.
"Anything for my angel", I kissed her chubby cheeks and flicked her nose to which she giggled loudly.
After breakfast, I headed to the office. My assistant Nikhil welcomed me, and we walked to my cabin. Along the way, colleagues greeted me, and I responded with a nod and a smile. My cabin is on the 25th floor, five floors above my dad's. Nikhil briefed me on my day, starting with a board meeting.
