Two weeks had flown by since Vedika's grand birthday celebration, and life had settled back into its usual rhythm for everyone.

After managing such a successful event, Arika and her team were entrusted with a new project. Their impeccable organization and execution at Vedika's birthday earned them numerous compliments, catching the attention of the HR department. They were now tasked with organizing the wedding of a prominent politician's daughter, a responsibility that showcased their capabilities and professionalism.

With these new responsibilities, Arika found herself spending most of her time at the project site, fully immersed in the tasks alongside her team. Instead of visiting the office, she directly headed to the project venue, which had become her second home in the past few weeks.

Amidst this whirlwind of activities, Shivansh was spending his days in restlessness, his days began to feel incomplete. It's been two weeks since he saw and interacted with Arika at the party and now the absence of her presence started to weigh heavily on him. The memory of their dance at Vedika's birthday lingered in his mind, refusing to fade.

Shivansh found himself unable to shake off the thoughts of Arika. Her gracefulness on the dance floor, the warmth of her smile, their eye contacts, small touches here and there and the inexplicable connection they shared during that moment played on a loop in his mind, disrupting his usual focus.

These two weeks he has been working continuously trying to get Arika's thoughts out of his mind but whenever he gets free her thoughts come back running in his mind. Her thoughts occupied his mind day in and day out, leaving Shivansh feeling conflicted and unsettled. He couldn't quite understand why Arika's absence left such a noticeable void in his routine, why her presence seemed to affect him in ways he couldn't explain. In this many years he never felt this affected with anyone's presence or absence. With every passing day the urge to meet Arika grew stronger within him.

The more he is trying to push these thoughts aside, the more they seem to consume his thoughts, creating a constant tug-of-war within him. All these feelings puzzled Shivansh, making him question himself and his emotions in a way he hadn't experienced before.

During lunchtime, Shivansh sat in his cabin, staring at his untouched food, lost in deep contemplation. He couldn't shake off the persistent question: why were Arika's thoughts consuming him more than anything else? Out of all the women he'd known, why did it have to be Arika, his employee, who evoked such strong emotions in him?

This was uncharted territory for him. Despite having been in two relationships in the past, the intensity of these newfound feelings was something entirely novel. The combination of uncertainty, confusion, and a whirlwind of conflicting emotions left him struggling to make sense of it all.
