As I approached the farthest corner of the cafe, I was surprised to see Miss Mathur sitting there. She was deeply focused on her work, her brow furrowed in concentration, her fingers moving swiftly across the keyboard as if they were dancing to a silent melody only she could hear.

The soft hum of conversation surrounded us as I hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to interrupt her focused state or just leave from here. Thinking for some moment I decided to ask her why is she here and took steps to stand right in front of her table.

"Hello, Arika," I greeted, a hint of surprise in my voice.
She looked up, momentarily startled.

"Shivansh sir," she replied, her eyes widened seeing me. As she stood up, her phone slipped from her grasp and fell to the ground. Without a second thought, I reached down to pick it up.

"Sit, it's fine. We're outside the office; there's no need for formalities," I said, handing her the phone. But she remained standing.

"No sir, it would be awkward for me if you're standing while I'm sitting. Please, you should sit too," she insisted. With a gentle nod, I pulled out a chair and took a seat in front of her.

"Sir, should I get a coffee for you?" Arika asked.

"No, you don't have to. I'll order," I replied, signaling to the waiter and requesting an Espresso for myself.

"What will you have, Arika?" I inquired.

"Thank you, sir, but I don't want anything," she said hesitantly.

"It's okay, Arika. Come on, tell me," I encouraged her.

"Um... I'll have tea," she said timidly.

"Oh, so you're a tea person?" I remarked.

"I prefer tea more than coffee, so you can say that too," she replied.

"Okay, one Espresso and one tea," I told the waiter, who nodded and left after taking our order.

"Do you usually have your lunch here?" I asked, initiating the conversation.

"No, actually I discovered this place yesterday only and I liked it here. It's so calm, and the beverages here are also good. So today I decided to come here during the break," she explained, a slight smile gracing her lips as our order arrived.

"Oh, that's nice. Even I like the coffee here. By the way, are you still working on the presentation?" I inquired, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Yes, I'm working on the changes that you have told us to do," she replied, taking a sip of her tea as well.
