I stood on the balcony of my apartment, holding a cup of coffee between both my palms, savoring the warmth it provided on this slightly chilly evening in Bangalore. The city spread out before me, a beautiful sea of twinkling lights and lively energy. From my spot, I could see the symphony of headlights weaving through the streets, the skyscrapers standing tall, their windows glowing like stars against the night sky.

The cool breeze blew gently, making my hair sway with it. I shivered lightly and held the cup tighter, seeking more warmth, and took a lazy sip. As I gazed at the beautiful cityscape, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much my life had changed since coming here. This city had welcomed me with open arms, and so far, it had been nothing short of wonderful. I loved my work, and I had made some genuinely good friends here, for whom I was immensely grateful.

Thinking about the projects I had handled so far brought a sense of satisfaction. My efforts had paid off, and my boss was pleased with my team. As the thought of my boss crossed my mind, my memories drifted back to Shivansh and our close encounters at the wedding yesterday.

When I entered the wedding garden, my eyes, having a mind of their own, immediately found Shivansh. At the same moment, he looked at me as if he had been waiting for me and upon meeting his gaze a zap of sensation travelled from my spine to my toes.

He was looking deliciously handsome and charming in that Pathani suit. It was the first time I saw him in traditional wear, and Oh God!, that sight of him was a blessing for my eyes. As I moved closer to where he was standing, the more I admired him and his looks. The sleeves of his kurta were folded till his elbows, revealing his protruding veins. His black hair was neatly gelled and combed back, yet some strands softly framed his forehead. He was carrying a dupatta that enhanced his look even more. Around his neck, he wore a thick gold chain, adding a regal touch to his appearance. I had never in my life seen any men as handsome and striking as Shivansh.

His presence was magnetic. The way he stood, the way his eyes held mine—it was like he commanded the whole atmosphere around him. Every small detail, from his confident posture to the subtle, almost slight smile that played on his lips, made my stupid heart race wildly as if it was running a marathon.

While talking with my team members, I couldn't help but steal glances at Shivansh taking his charm as much as I could. A few times he caught me looking at him, and I immediately averted my gaze or lowered it. I couldn't maintain eye contact with him for long because every time our eyes met, a swarm of butterflies erupted in the pit of my stomach.
