I didn't realize how long this part would be until I wrote it 😑

I might write a part three to this if I want to, or if anyone asks for it, but it can also just continue on according to your imagination.

I actually went back and reread and edited the other chapters, but if you see any mistakes please still comment and tell me.

Please comment suggestions and feedback!

This chapter also doesn't have much Natasha—just memories of her, really, but if I do decided to do a part three, that will most certainly have a lot of Natasha.

Thank you to everyone who has read this story!

Yelena wasn't sure what to do. On one hand, her sister (who she loved and trusted most in the world) had told her to run away and don't look back—had even pushed Yelena out of a moving plane in her panic to deliver the message; but on the other, these men—Clint and Coulson, they were called— seemed to care about her safety and want to help her find her sister.

It was still cold and dark out, but Yelena was beginning to warm up in the back of the car she was in. Clint was driving and Coulson sat in the passenger's seat.

Yelena said nothing, afraid that they would snap at her or raise their voices like they did when they found her. Yelena knew they weren't yelling at her, but it was scary nonetheless.

So Yelena just watched as the moon grew higher and higher in the sky. Yelena had been just learning how to tell time at school, so she guessed it was around 8 o'clock, give or take.

As they drove, the familiar neighborhoods Yelena knew so well were falling farther and further behind. There were less and less houses, and instead just lots of trees and grass. The sight of the rolling hills lulled Yelena into a half-sleep—no, she reprimanded herself. Whenever her Mama and Papa yelled or hit, and whenever there were police sirens nearby, Natasha would always stay up late, far past when Yelena fell asleep, until she was absolutely positive nothing bad would happen. Yelena decided she would do the same as her sister would and stay awake

But as the drive continued on, these thoughts slipped out of her mind and were replaced with drowsiness, and the sleep.

Yelena awoke to the sound of fumbling, followed by a low, "damn it."

Her eyes slowly fluttered open and focused on Clint, leaning in overtop of her and trying as hard as he could to unbuckle her seatbelt.

"Need any help?" Another familiar voice called. Coulson.
