After Valarie had taken Judith to Beth for day she went to go see what Maggie was up to since her side was feeling better.
"Maggie" she called heading down the cold rusty stairs stairs. Silence "Alora?" Silence again. Where is everyone? She though heading into Cell block B
"Hellloooo? Carl, Josie ? " she was met silence again. She heard raining of gunfire , Her heart rate starting speeding up. Where were they?? Why was there gun fire? She ran through Cellblock D, still no one.
"Where are you guys?" She yelled. She must have forgotten that the other half of Cell block D wasn't cleared out yet because she was met with a groaning sound behind her and a walker touching her shoulder.
She was quick to kill the walker in the head wp with which blood sprayed her face. The worst part was that there were 5 more waiting and they didn't come out one at a time It didn't help that the gun fire was still blaring
"What the shit?!" The young girl said as they chomped at her.
She ended up killing the first 3 by hand which had her caked in blood but didn't see the last 2 coming as they landed on top of her and she let out a ear pearcing scream. The brunette tried her best to shoot the one closest to her which was inches away from her face but couldn't get the other one
"Valarie?!" She heard Ricks muffled hells
"Valarie hold on!" She heard a muffled yell. That must have been Maggie
"What the hells going on?" The small girl yelled
They had got there just gotten there in time and shot the 2nd walker in the head just before it could bite Hannahs flesh
"Oh god Valarie!" Maggie said as she and Rick got the walkers off of Valarie
"I thought this Cellblock was cleared out?" She said out of breath
"I thought it was?" Rick said as he looked at Maggie
"Hello? Obviously not because I'm kinda covered in blood" she said sarcastically as she put her gun and knife back into the Hollister.
"Anyways what happened why was there gunfire?"
"We're under attack. The same people that kidnapped you are trying to steal back the prison" he said gritting his teeth
They walked through the rest of the cell blocks double checking for walkers until they finally got back to A.
"What happened to you?" Josie said embracing her in a hug and getting blood on her shirt .
"Oh ya'know just the usual" she giggled
"Yes yes of course"she laughed
"Are you good?" Carl said sprinting from the other Cellblock
Everyone could see the worry in his face as Vala features softens
"Yea it's was only a few of them"
"Where's Alora?" She looked around trying to spot her curly haired sister
"She went out to look for your parents, remember" Carol said weakly cleaning the blood of off her shirt and skin
"oh" she replied not surprised that her sister left so early.
The good news was that Daryl was back but he brought Merle with him. She had also discovered that Axel had been killed and that's why Carol looked like that

The next day Michonne, Rick, and Carl were set to head out on a run and Valarie was dying to get out of the prison
"Hey Michonneeeee" Hannah smirked as she dragged out her Valarie
"What now Valarie?" Michonne grinned
"Can I pretty please go!? I'll be super duper good don't worry" Valarie pleaded
"Do you not remember what happend last time you went on a run?"
"No?" She said sarcastically
"It's ok with me if it's ok with Rick" she said getting her bag together
"Yes!!" She yelled running up the stairs to grab her backpack
She changed into not her long sleeve shirt. Anything to get rid of her scar
She packed goldfish, her knife, gun and a hair tie because that's all she needed to survive
"Hey Carl get your ass out here" she yelled outside of Carls cell
"Jeez why do you always yell" he said coming out with his backpack
"Because it's fun, duh" she said as they walked out to the car
They got in before the adults did so they had time to lay there bags down
"How do you already trust her?" Carl said with spite in his voice
"Because she like literally saved me? Not to mention she's friends with Alora" She said
"Oh come on, we barely know her!"
"You barely know me? I've only only known you for a year"
"I also hated you to until like last week" He said giving up knowing that she wouldn't stop until she won
"Ha-ha I win" she crossed her arms with satisfaction as they got in the car
"Your letting her drive?" Carl grumbled as he earned a glare from both his dad and Michonne
"Grumpy much?" She replied as Michonne held back a laugh
