Everyone stayed up a few more minutes before deciding to call it a night. They didn't know what to expect for the next day so it was good to be all rested. Alora and Daryl were sleeping by each-other, and Rosita was by Abraham so she was by herself in the floor.
It had to be about 2am when Valarie sat up in horror having a terrible nightmare about Josie's death. She let a tear slip down her face as she attempted to calm her very shaky sobs, trying not wake anyone up.
She hadn't noticed that Carl awake on one of the benches in the back, with a concerned look in his face. They locked eyes as Carl motioned for her to come sleep with him. She quickly got up and moved over to him, letting out a quite sob when she got in his arms.
"your fine, your fine" he repeated covering them both up in a ragged blanket. Josie's terrified face haunted her dreams and there was nothing she could do about it. Her best friend was gone, dead, not coming back.

Everyone was awoken to the sound of Judith giggling and Rick playing with her. The all smiled seeing the father and daughter happy
"We're low on food" Glenn mumbled as the group stretched out and slowly got up
Carol and Daryl we're missing, Rich was going to look for them later and Valarie had planned to tag along
"Wait wheres Valarie?" Rosita spoke up as everyone looked around and realized Carl and Valarie weren't in the main room.
"Carl?" Rick said getting up
The adults got up and searched for the kids while Abraham searched the back, finding Valarie in Carls arms.
"I think I found them" Abraham chuckled, motioning for them to come look at the two still sleeping
"Thank god" Rosita mumbled as they walked to where the red head was standing
Tara and Glenn busted out laughing as Alora put a hand on her heart, smiling at the two
"Let the sleep" Maggie chuckled, dragging them away from the peaceful teens
The group sat in the main area while Abraham took the men to work on the bus they were taking to Washington. Well, everyone but Eugene because he was no help
Rosita and Maggie sat laughing and packing the bags for the trip and making sure they were all ready to head out while Sasha and Alora kept watch. Eugene just sat in the corner staring at Judith who laughed at him Still no signs of Daryl and Carol
"What are y'all being so loud for" Carl mumbled, waking by where they were sitting as Rosita raised her eyes brows at him
He flushed red "she had a nightmare" he said quietly noticing Valarie came walking through, yawning.
"There she is" Maggie laughed as Valarie rubbed her eyes
"You guys loud" she mumbled playfully pushing past them to hold Judith in her made up play pin
"On a more serious note, we need to be ready to head to DC" Rosita said, her Spanish accent sealing through
"Who will be accompanying us?" Eugene questioned behind them as Valarie picked up Judith with her good arm
"Me and Glenn will be tagging along" Maggie smiled
"Along with our mini group, including us" Rosita said, speaking for the sisters
"I'm not going?" Valarie said as Alora raised her eye brows
"The hell your not, we have to stick together" Rosita said as the men walked back into the church, ready to head out
"No I'm not, I want to stay with Judith" she said looking at Judith who giggled when she said her name
Rosita looked up at Rick who had just walked through the doors, "will you watch Valarie while we are gone?" She said in a out of patience tone
"Of course" he nodded
"Fine" Rosita mumbled
"Okay it's settled, we're leaving in about 10 minutes " Abraham rushed, grabbing all of their bags and putting them in the back of the bus
"That was quick" Maggie laughed, Glenn putting a hand on her shoulder
Everyone was saying their goodbyes and double checking their bags
"Be safe" Alora said giving Valarie a tight hug as Rosita joined in
"Do not do anything stupid and don't be a hero" Rosita chuckled as Valarie playfully rolled her eyes
"Love y'all" she giggled as they walked out the hug church doors and the group that was rest was welcomed with silence
"and then there were 7" Valarie laughed as Judith giggled right along with her
