Carl was sleeping peacefully until he was awoken by Valarie banging in his cell
"Wake your ass up, if we're going we have to go now" she whispered yelled
"Why now?" He groaned
"Because once everyone wakes up it will be impossible to get a car?" She asked the obvious
"Ok I'm up" he said groggily following her out of the cell. They snuck past the stairs and quietly out the back door to where they kept the cars
"Which one should we take?" Carl asked as he adjusted his hat. They decided to keep them outside the gates so they had easier access in case something happened
"Hmm.. the green one!" She smiled and turned towards him
"I just hope they keys are in it" he mumbled watching her run to the drivers seat
"Hah yes! They keys are in it!" She yelled as carl shushed her
"Do you have to be so loud?"
"Yes now get your ass in, I'm driving" she smirked
She pressed the gas pedal as hard as she could making the car speed down the gravel was carls had slammed forwards
"Valarie slow down!" Carl laughed
"Oops" she smirked
Once she had gotten to the main road they just cruised until they found a gas station that didn't look overrun.
"Park right there" Carl posted to a spot right in front of the entrance
"Here?" Valarie said as Carl nodded while she tried to pull in
"Shit! Shit!" She said as she pressed the pedal a little to hard and sent the car crashing into the building
"Fuck" Carl mumbled as his head his the dashboard and hers hit the steering wheel. They both looked at each other and busted out laughing as they opened the car door
"Maybe they ain't notice " she chuckled staring at the whole front if the car that had been dented
"Maybe?" He laughed as he walked into the gas station. They were cautious at first been then realized that it had already been cleared
It was like an 8 year olds dream, Candy and slushes everywhere yiu turned your head
"Oh my god!" Valarie squealed as she took of runs g towards the slushes as Carl went directly to the candy section
